Ok, that was a lot of cut-and-pasting. *wipes brow* I’ll tag some folks, and I’m going to miss some, so I apologize in advance to them.

@daeus, I currently have the Silmarillion out from my library at the moment, I’m planning to read it soon.
@that_writer_girl_99 No worries, not every is into classics! I have read The Chronicles of Narnia and they are some of my favourite books!
@aratrea, thanks!
@Christi-eaton, my mum actually suggested I listen to Les Mis today, so I might get…[Read more] -

This is interesting before I developed heavy depression last winter I had never taken writing seriously, but then depression happened and I wrote for all I was worth.

Well that was stunning… I feel slightly dazed. This is something I’ve struggled with for a while—the deep places of my soul that need understanding, but no one can understand. Turning to fictional characters in fictional worlds to keep me company, because there’s no one else.
Thanks for this, @Christi-Eaton. It was monumentally encouraging and…[Read more] -

@christi-eaton Thank you so much for sharing. This gave words to thoughts that always confused me. In the past, I have tested as an extrovert. But I think certain life experiences have molded me into more of an introvert. So I can speak for the extroverted ones: they must pass through a season of depression and loneliness to see art and beauty and…[Read more]

Wow… um… wow.
Okay that was basically my existence in a nutshell… I think I’m going to be floored and absolutely useless for the rest of the day. 😛
Thank you so much for sharing, @Christi-Eaton. That was beyond encouraging. -

@Christi-Eaton So you’re moving into college today? Wowy. I bet that crept up on you. I’m praying. <3
Been kinda busy but I'm hoping to get your letter off in the next few days. 😀 -

@Christi-eaton, that was an amazing piece, thanks for sharing it! I resonate with Jennifer’s words so deeply, I’ve always found myself lonely and it doesn’t bother me most of the time, but sometimes it just hurts so much and that’s why I love writing. its a chance to share myself with the world and show my feelings to others who might feel the…[Read more]

Okay, so I say “like,” like, ALL the time. Seriously. I don’t like saying “dude” too much, it gets a bit OTT after a while. I’d rather say “mate.” Which some peeps would consider sounding kinda rough.…[Read more]

@daeus Hi! I found Kingdom Pen through my sister. She had writing a poem for the site and then told me about it. Bit of us love to write and she has been the one to encourage me to write more. I do write some Christian fantasy. I’m not very good at it, but I try. Right now, i am working on braiding my journalism skills because that’s what my job…[Read more]

Hey there, everyone!
I admit I don’t know much about google docs (I type my book in Scrivener), but I was wondering if anyone would like to read my first chapter and give me feedback. 🙂 I’m pretty sure you can make comments right there on the page. Keep in mind this is the first draft, so it’s almost entirely unedited. Forgive the typos and weird…[Read more] -

Should I start a blog?
I’ve prayed about this, a lot. And I’ve tried to convince that I’m really not the best person to do this kind of thing, but…well, I think God’s got other…[Read more]
