*shrugs* @bluejay
I see…I suppose that makes sense. And I know about the votes, I’m just the biggest Tolkien fan that’s ever existed. (hints the voting) My first and foremost vote is for the Hobbit, but I have some preferences over others.
1. The Hobbit
2. The Hobbit
3. The Hobbit
…you know what, I think that I’m probably getting annoying now. Sorry. -

@Bluejay, I’m not going to read one this month then, so don’t count my votes.
Unless we read something from the Bible. Esther or Ruth could be good.

@bluejay I’m going to vote for:
1. The Hobbit
2. Charlotte’s Web
3. The Witch of Blackbird Pond
Although I’m interested in nearly all of them. And by the way, I like the idea of presenting a tentative list of choices- it shortens the voting process. -

@bluejay Sure, I could handle that. Enjoy your new position.

@bluejay If you mean that you would give a list of books to choose from instead of having anyone suggest them, that could make things simpler, though some people might be less interested if they don’t have that say. I don’t know. If you think it’s the best thing, I’m fine with you trying it out.
It’s also fine to retire if you ever find yourself…[Read more]

@bluejay Position requires tagging people for most things, having them vote, counting up the tally, considering the popular vote and possibly overturning thought that is discouraged and should only be done if the book is one that there is significant dislike for among the minority or is way too long or something. You also need to have some skill…[Read more]

@bluejay Aaaaaaahh, yes… Another book. Ok, so I’d really like to do another book, but as it turns out, my schedule is tighter than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, I just can’t handle a book club anymore. However, if anyone would like to take the position over for me, I’d be perfectly happy to see the work carried on.

Ooh, texting! Why didn’t I think of that? @bluejay Well, I guess that dragons can’t text with talons and all. Just let my know whenever you start writing. I won’t reply, because I’ll be writing, but please know that I’m there. Thanks!

@everyone
WOW am I late. Okay disclaimer: I’ve read neither Les Mis. or Count of Monte Cristo, and am eager to read both, however, I’ve been looking for both for about a year (lazily, I will admit) But soon I WILL read them, hopefully, or listen to them although I’ve never gotten as much out of a book that I’ve listened to so we’ll see. With…[Read more]
