Quick update on the kid’s club; the first two days are over, and this is the morning of the third day. So far everything’s gone pretty well, with kids all saying they’re having fun, and also knowing most of the answers to questions, so they must be…[Read more] -

What do you write when the little box says “write a description of this image”? Or is that box not supposed to appear…? -

Wow, @BlueJay, you won second in the competition! Good job.
And is ‘Paperclip Productions’ your ownest company?? Wow.
I like this. Is the story taken directly from the Chuck Black story? -

Rumplestiltskin
The Simpleton
Jack and the Beanstalk
Little Red Riding Hood
St. George and the Dragon (or is that a true story?)
Or are all of those too like childrens’ nursery tales?

That is hilarious.
I would say what Daeus said on his post about the first poem—the meter/cadence could use some evening out; though I know with a list of words that must be used, there’s only so much you can do for rhyme and cadence.
And also, ‘a yelled of surprise’ is not grammatically correct. 😉That’s really funny. 🙂

@bluejay, sounds like you’ve got it already, but I agree with the others—like pottery, just a little clearer and harder.

@bluejay We just watched Ace Wonder for the first time last night! It is hilarious. That librarian… Oh my. 🙂
I do not know the Burns or the Moores. I wish I did, though. I’m very interested in film-making; maybe one day I’ll get to work with them. 🙂 -

@bluejay I wish I did, but I have to go to bed soon. Sorry I missed you; my notifications system has faithfully failed me the last week or so. It used to alert me when you tagged me, but not anymore…

@bluejay Speaking of Christian movies, have you seen The Widow’s Might? The Burns family, who did Beyond the Mask, helped produce it. And what is Ring the Bell about?

@bluejay @clairec Usually I work with another youth leader at my table- she’s kind of in charge, and I’m more assisting her- but she’s going on vacation over the weekend, so this Sunday I will probably be leading all by myself. Would you please be praying for me? I was pretty nervous when I found out, but I know that God will be with me, so I’m…[Read more]

@bluejay I finally watched your Lego movies today. They are so funny! You did a really good job. It must have been rather tedious, making all those little adjustments. It’s so cool that you were actually able to make them “talk”. Cedric did seem a bit wiggly in the first one, but The Call Of The Prince was much smoother. Do you use a specific kind…[Read more]

@bluejay: I have read Revelation! I hope the Rapture as mentioned in Matt. 24: 41 and Luke 17: 35 happens kind of as Left Behind says it will :). I sure don’t want to be around for the rest of Revelation! Earthquakes and plagues and all manner of awful stuff. Eternity is so confusing! Our feeble human minds don’t have the capacity to understand…[Read more]
