@jenwriter17 Nope, I’m writing a declaration of war against SE. 😛 I got the first paragraph done and got stuck. Want to take a look and give suggestions for how I should continue?

@ariel-ashira @jenwriter17 We can declare war even if you’re on the Story Embers forum. You can be the spies.

@catwing According to that analogy, yes. I like my best friend analogy better. 😛
*defends America* American tea is way better than British tea!!! They have only one or two flavors that they stick to. Americans have hundreds and thousands of different herbal teas, and we’re willing to experiment with any kind of blends!

@kaya-young Ah, that might work. Except for one thing.
Until they appear back in the Kingdom, at which point we will accept them into the forums again very kindly.
That is a wonderful statement, but we have already broken it twice. After Ben declared he would visit once in a while, both you and Ariel made cracks about him being a traitor. Do yo…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira Just a joke. 😉 You can like both SE and KP if you want to. 😛 Only don’t desert us!

@ariel-ashira The way I see it is, here’s an example. You have a really good friend, then you meet someone else, and you have a second really good friend. Having both friends is fine, until you realize that your second friend ignores your original friend, except to make fun of her. What do you do? 😮 Hmm…
Seeing as how the king has dese…[Read more]

@alia Just go to your local craft store and buy the sharpest pair of knitting needles you can find. You need not know how to knit with them as long as you are prepared to use them as weapons. Then put them in a safe place so that when you are old and grey and frail, with the rest of us, you can use the only weapons you are still strong enough t…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 Thank you so much!! And I love the picture you put with it. 🙂
You’re going to “check in once in a while” to speak with the last loyal subjects? 😛 Haha, yes, I think most people on SE don’t realize there still are a few of us left here. Thanks for coming over, though.
@ariel-ashira I’m glad you like them! A couple of days ago…[Read more]

@kaya-young Wow. *shouts with laughter* *sobs* *giggles* *weeps*
You have raised very conflicting emotions in me, friend. 😀
You know what? Even though it seems he has abandoned us like the rest of them, I’m going to have to tag @supermonkey42 to grant us one last boon before he deserts us completely. Ben, will you add Kaya’s new piece to t…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira If you look back through the last couple of pages you’ll see where the knitting needles come from.
Knitting needles is a well-known symbol of elderly women. All the people left here on the KP forum are girls, so we’ll all be old ladies some day, and the knitting needles joke came from that, as well as a passage from a book I…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I just watched the first bit of S01X02 and I don’t think it is the one you’re talking about. That one is all about Barney trying out for a singing competition or something. What was the plot of the one you saw? If I know that I can probably find it. Or do you know the title of the episode?

Um…it is late, but for some reason I’m not sleepy. 😉 I should probably try to go to sleep anyway.

@skredder Usually the libretto is translated in the programs or on a screen so people can read the lyrics in English. If you like opera music, but don’t like bad plots, look up Gilbert and Sullivan’s operettas. They’re really good, and they’re in English! 🙂
