@princessfoo @daughteroftheking Awesome, fantasy seems to be taking the lead 😉

@catwing @daughteroftheking @seekjustice @princessfoo Awesome! So what genre do you guys vote we start with?
I vote fantasy (and it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m reading a fantasy right now and I hate stopping books in the middle to read a different one 😛 ) My second option would be historical.
We’ll probably close the voting on…[Read more]

Oh, I should have known the aloe and honey ones. The rest are quite interesting.
Basically it means I take first aid classes every week and I have two first aid certificates.
Ah that’s me too. I often get up at 6ish to write before my family gets up. I’m probably going to go to bed now, but I’ll happily chat tomorrow 🙂

It gives me warm fuzzy feelings being told I’m one of someone’s best friends 😀

@ariel-ashira I’m a first aid officer, so I’ve researched a lot of different injuries. I do know quite a bit about third degree burns and ouch, in medieval times??? That would be nasty. I don’t know what they did for burns in the Middles ages though. I’m curious to know now 😀
Its 9:45pm. I’m not usually on at this time (because I have a no te…[Read more]

Yeah, its incredibly interesting and also very much underused. I actually feel (I’m no expert) that the other type of amnesia doesn’t happen very much, whereas the not remembering things correctly afterward happens quite a lot. You can see it in dementia as well, people with dementia remembering their childhoods really well, but…[Read more]

Oh yeah, I’ve seen those sorts of videos. They can be quite fun!
I don’t know what version it was, it was part of a soundtrack though, rather than just a cover by someone.
I guess it does leave it hanging, he doesn’t receive any sort of guidance or change his mind in anyway.
I don’t know if Justice is a singing sort of person, but…[Read more]

What are you up to? Listening to anything good?
I like the lyrics of that song, by the way, though the style isn’t really my thing. Its a kind of sad song, isn’t it? I like the focus on stars and God though, which is probably why it reminded you of my book 😉

@notherner well, there are some of us that are staying here ’til we’re old and grey 😛 But, if you’re worried about being able to still grow as a writer here, I’d say these writers here will still give their advice and input. I still grow even though SE is launched. Yes, Daeus and Josiah and the staff-pros-people are at SE, so you’ll probably get…[Read more]

Oh actually my mum told me about that movie once, but she couldn’t remember what it was called. She thought I’d like it, but I haven’t seen it.

Psychological amnesia is so much fun! I think that the Anastasia movie uses a physical injury–Anya falls off the train and hits her head. But the musical, I believe, uses a more psychological approach. She repressed her memories and tried to forget them.
A type of amnesia that’s quite common, but never mentioned in any books/movies…[Read more]

Personally, I decided to hang around here because I don’t have enough time for two forums (though I do have an account on SE) and because the people who I’ve become especially close to are still here (*cough* @alia @rochellaine @jenwriter17 @ariel-ashira ). I’m sad that everyone else has gone, but I felt I had to choose…[Read more]

What’s up guys! SE started their own book club, but I told them I didn’t think I’d be able to do it because I didn’t think I’d be able to keep up with the reading.
But what if we started a book club of our own?
We could read in the same genre instead of the same book, so people wouldn’t have to buy books if they didn’t have the one. Then we…[Read more]
