@graciegirl Thanks! Marvel is very cool, and Star Wars is amazing. Gryffindor is a great House… after all, Hermione Granger’s from Gryffindor! (Although, I’m surprised she didn’t get into Ravenclaw… she’s one of the smartest characters in the series!)

@seekjustice Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Thanks, I thought of it when I was reading a book about spies. There was an actual Acoustic Kitty once!

@daeus What do you think I could use monkeys for? Should they be master thieves and the spy has to catch them? It’s a very good idea, thank you so much!

@emma-flournoy Thanks! I had help from my piano teacher with the arrangement. What’s ENFP? I’ve heard of it, but I don’t exactly know.

@that_writer_girl_99 Yeah, Poseidon’s pretty awesome. I’m a swimmer, so I chose Poseidon. But, since I’m a Ravenclaw… I think I’d fit in with the Athena Cabin as well. 🙂

@that_writer_girl_99 🙂 Do you know what cabin at Camp Half-Blood you’d be in? If you’ve read Percy Jackson, that is. I’m Cabin Poseidon.

@kate-flournoy Thanks! Yeah, it is a very unusual idea. 🙂 And I agree, dogs are definitely a common “enemy” to cats. Although, back when I had a cat, my dog and he were best friends… ish. I thought the rats would be funny! And thanks for the mouse idea… I really like it! I could do a spin-off for the mouse agent, maybe!

@kate-flournoy Don’t worry, I’m a total Star Wars nut. I’m very into the Mandalorians. Thanks for the info, it’ll be very helpful. 🙂

@that_writer_girl_99 Slytherin is a pretty cool House too, some of my best friends at school are Slytherins. Although, my favorite house is obviously Ravenclaw. It’s the House of Wisdom! (That sounded like…[Read more]

@mark-kamibaya I agree about how Lewis used his mythology. He even tied in mythological characters to Christianity, which is no small feat!

@warrioroftherealm I agree that it is a good idea to stray from the topic of evolution while writing about Christian topics. Try to make up a backstory to your dragon-like creature that completely rules out…[Read more]

This sounds like a fantastic idea! Are you thinking of making the trees like the trees in Narnia/dryads, or just sentient beings that observe? There are so many possible storylines, I am amazed!

Your other novel idea is also good. Phoenixes are amazing mythological creatures, and I hope you submit both of your stories to Kingdom Pen!

Also, the…[Read more]

I think someone has already said this, but the best way I can think of to start a plot is to create some conflict. Make something go wrong and figure out how the characters can fix the problem. Also, a great way to start is to brainstorm. Think about your characters, your story. It helps. 🙂 Anyway, that’s my brilliant advice. 😉

So…I don’t think anyone has reviewed the new Beauty and the Beast movie yet. I saw it last week.
I think they did a pretty good job of fleshing out the characters. Dan Stevens as the Beast was an excellent casting choice. He was gruff and cold, but he had an underlying sadness and hurt…[Read more]

Hurray! I cannot tell you how happy I am that summer is almost here. *starts dancing*
I will be entering 10th grade in the fall…kinda scary.
Yes, congratulations to all seniors! Go forth and conquer! The world awaits your awesomeness! 😉

@winter-rose
No, I am not helpful in any way, shape, or form. I’ve actually been having this problem too. Someone smarter than me will need to rescue us. 😉 Anyone?

@anyone
I’ll do some reviews!
I don’t think anyone has reviewed the movie Minions yet. All I have to say about it is…it shouldn’t even be a movie. The beginning was okay, but then you wonder where the original plot went and the main characters are far more annoying than they are amusing. My advice: don’t waste your time watching it. The Despicabl…[Read more]
