I’ll be around for a bit 😀 I’m supposed to be drafting, but instead I’m pondering problems in Stars Fill Infinity.

Hey sorry I disappeared. Was at a home visit. It’s getting late for you but are you still around? 😛

@rochellaine *runs back into room excitedly* *grins way too hard* 437! That’s got to be my record or something! Ha! Yes! I won a word war! 😀

@catwing Well, I’m pretty consistent tonight. This time it was 401 words. 😛

@rochellaine Alright, I’m starting. Late, but it’s still a timer, so… *shrug* 🙂

I might pass on this one. I’m currently just cleaning up a little.
Scrivener doesn’t have Australian spelling (Word does though) so I have to use Canadian spelling, but it doesn’t recognise all those unique Aussie words 😛

@seekjustice @rochellaine @catwing
My characters’ names are all not in English and I have so many characters… So I always turn off grammar and spelling check. 😛

@seekjustice Who knows? The Word processor seems to be quite a bunch of confusion, at any rate.
Okay I’ll be starting my timer for 15 minutes now. SeekJustice, you’ll be joining too, right?

@catwing I added most of my character names to the dictionary on my computer, but new ones still come up with red lines, particularly Yilla for whatever reason.
Maybe the Word processor is the reason we have intoxicated water and disembowelled voices?

@catwing Ah, I see. Yes, it did that to all my characters’ names too, but then I added them to the dictionary, so that helped. Maybe you should do that. Or you could keep it this way just so you can have the fun of complaining to and threatening Mr. Squiggly-Line. Ooh, Mr. Squiggly-Line hyphenates. Doesn’t that usually mean he’s pompous and…[Read more]

@rochellaine I was talking about how it puts a line under, Kerkin and Cele, my characters names. But I was kinda talking to the squiggly line… So I probably should have just tagged it.
Yes, word war. I’m behind on Nano. Are you on the Nano site? Are you doing Nano? I can’t remember, sorry.@squiggly-line Stop appearing under my character…[Read more]

@seekjustice I checked, and mine wants to do the same, despite the fact that the sentence would make absolutely no sense if the word were “tripled” instead of “tripped.” In fact, I am laughing right now at the picture I get of Bathshua moving so quickly she triples herself. I wonder if it just means that the reader gets a weird form of double v…[Read more]

@seekjustice In response to your earlier Night Owl question. I think I was on late for a while, then a stopped staying up so late (for a long while I probably met you then), and now I’m back to being on here late.
At least I think that’s how it’s been… I may be remembering wrong.@rochellaine Yeah. Kerkin is a word squiggly line. Cele is a…[Read more]

Well done! It appears I am not so distracted now that I don’t have to deal with little brothers and sausages.
I typed it into my own Word processor and it wants to change it to “Tripled”. as if that makes any sense whatsoever?
Want to word war again, guys?

@seekjustice Yes, basically. On Word documents a blue line usually means that you’ve made a grammatical error.
Here’s the sentence. Do you see any grammatical errors in it?
Bathshua nearly tripped in her haste to step inside and close the door
As I said, on my document the word “tripped” is underlined as though it were used i…[Read more]
