I was expecting LOTR to win as well. If we can’t do both Wingfeather and Mistborn, I would say go with Wingfeather, since at least 3 people haven’t read Mistborn, and I think everyone has read Wingfeather.

Sunshine girl with a broken heart reminds me of Unikitty after the destruction of Cloud Cuckoo Land.😂 I have several sunshine girls with sad heroes in my books. It’s such a fun trope. I don’t know that I’ve read much with a shapeshifter, so that will be interesting.

There is also the Chacalaca, Oleaginous Hemispingus, Exclamatory Paradise Whydah, Common Loon, Spangled Drongo, and those are just the ones I can say on KP! 🤣🤣🤣 Trust me, there are worse…

Though loon isn’t that weird.
Common Loon just sounds like it was named by someone who hated birds.
But I’m pretty sure the insult loon came from the bird, not vice versa.
I think they were called loons because of their call.
