I have found what everyone has said here very useful. but I was wondering what every one thought about multiple POVs all in first person?

@Ethryndal, I didn’t see this until now, but I’ll definitely pray.
Quick Update: My dad’s appointment was rescheduled to today, and they found out that his retina was detaching. 🙁 He’s is going to have surgery today (it lasts about 4ish hours). Praise God that this happened before January first, as insurance should cover the costs! He…[Read more]

Well, here I am again… My dad has always had eye problems, and he’s seeing a black spot that comes and goes. The last time he saw something like this, his retina was starting to detach. He has to go to the ER today for them to check it out. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, but who knows.
I’ll tag some people, @clairec, @spradlin, @kate-flourn…[Read more] -

@mark-kamibaya Now it’s my turn to apologize for not replying… *apologizes*
Right, so not liking romance is another part of my rebellion. “Join me and we can never watch romances again!” All the books in my age group, and sometimes under, are romances. Have romances. It makes me sick. Love triangles are terrible. I honestly don’t understand…[Read more] -

@Daeus Somehow I missed this. I’m so very glad you and your mom came to an agreement. An excellent agreement, no less. 😀 Very happy.
@Anne-of-Lothlorien Glad your mom’s prayer was answered. 🙂
And @Bluejay, great that you’re feeling better. It’s not good having the doctor sick. 😛

@Anne-of-Lothlorien @Daeus hey, that’s a neat idea. That could go several ways, especially with how they’d figure from a different world to fix their problem.

@anne-of-lothlorien What if it led to a secret passage hundreds of years old? Would that be less cliché?

@anne-of-lothlorien To be perfectly honest, I’m not so eager for Rogue 1. *shrugs* And that Star Wars told my Emoji was adorable! 😀

@anne-of-lothlorien Just so you know, only twins with the same gender will be identical. So you are correct in having your twins different, but people shouldn’t picture them the same if they know the facts. 🙂 This is an interesting story btw. 🙂

Ooh, if the door’s not going to be in the main library you may as well put it in the cellar @Anne-of-Lothlorien.

YES, THE WINGFEATHER SAGA!!!!!!!!! Janner’s death is so moving but so, so, SO devastating. I actually (*ahem*) read ahead by accident (it’s a bad habit) and found out that Janner died, but even knowing beforehand didn’t prepare me for it. I cried so hard. Janner comes back, right? I mean, he…[Read more] -

Yep, pulling this up from the depths again and putting it back on topic…
So, I watched The Force Awakens again. I think I could probably watch it over and over and never get tired of it… because every time I watch it I see something new that I missed before.
The big realization this go around was something fairly small but I almost choked…[Read more] -

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I might be interested in continuing a book with that beginning, though probably not if it was very long. 😛
Something I thought could be neat (though it’s not like the ideas you brought up), is if the door opened into just another room of the library, but a super secret one, with all sorts of books that have something (exactly…[Read more] -

@anne-swiftblade the one @anne-of-lothlorien and I were talking about was the 2005 version with Kiera Knightley and Matthew Macfayden.

I’m in agreement with @Daeus on the first paragraph you wrote. But hey! For an 11 o’clock idea… I’m intrigued. So here are my thoughts. 😀
When you said “gives the door” I immediately got a picture of the man handing a small door to the boy. The door could be a talking door (hence the sulky bit). I like the clock on the door idea. Maybe the door…[Read more] -

@anne-of-lothlorien I would totally read this. I’m interested to see where it goes, especially since this particular door was “given.”
Have you considered like an alternate universe type deal on the other side of the door? So it appears that they come out the other side into the exact same place, with the same people, but in this particular place…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien @winter-rose It’s from Interstellar . . . which is a space movie. It’s like super great (except for the fact that it’s a space movie. I hate space movies)
