Well, I’ve only ever read the later versions of the books (my family got into them probably two years ago). I’ve seen all of the first season and really enjoyed them. They will never take the place of the books for me, but then movies never do.
As to “The Places Beyond the Maps”, I actually didn’t read that one,…[Read more]

@annabethkatherinewingfeather I have the Wingfeather Tales!
I had a serious problem with The Places Beyond The Maps though. It wasn’t anything against the story or anything. What I didn’t like was how he kept using run-on sentences. Like ten whole lines of text could be one sentence sometimes. The story was very enthralling (and no I don’t have…[Read more]

Hello to you, too. 🙂 If you want to become a part of the Protection Squad, you’re gonna have to ask @godlyfantasy12, @freedomwriter76, or someone else who is a member because I’m not (I don’t even know who started it :/ ). But, it’s nice to meet you as well. 😀

I agree that On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness isn’t as great as the others. I think Andrew Peterson had some good ideas, but he hadn’t worked much on his writing yet. And I do not like the type of “humor” that occurs in especially the first th…[Read more]

Tink has blue eyes in the book. I really hope they don’t change that, cuz that becomes really important later on.
book 4 is my favorite!! It’s definitely longer than the other ones and I think I remember some parts being slow (don’t take my word for it, I haven’t read it in a while), but it…[Read more]

@annabethkatherinewingfeather now that…I always though he had blue eyes just because in his wolf form he did, but that could be a wolf thing so I could be mistaken.
@mineralizedwritings book 4 is amazing. Just…prepare yourself.
@whalekeeper yea I agree with Kalmar looking older then Janner I didn’t care for that, but he did look super…[Read more]

Yeah, that makes sense. It’s totally fine not to like that style.. I questioned the designs for the short film, because their heads were basically – I don’t know, barrels? on tiny stick bodies. They changed them some for the actual show, tho, which is good. I guess it depends on what you exaggerate.
What?? Same!…[Read more]

*TV show Spoilers*
*You’ve Been Warned*
I personally enjoyed the first two episodes. For me, they captured the characters’ personalities and the first book’s style very well – and those two are kinda the most important things. Must come from having Peterson as a producer. As for the plot, there are a few added…[Read more]

@queen_of_alvastia Probably. I have a feeling there weren’t many only children in the Wingfeather family, since the Maker was watching them. Funny thing is, my dad sort of has that Kalmar vibe, and my mum is definitely the responsible, good-with-words person. XD

Ah historical fiction is one of my absolute FAVORITE genres, so I’m more than happy to provide a few recs. 🙂

Ooo, yeah. I feel like Harry Potter would be one of those series so many people would love to read for the first time again. Especially because it’s really nostalgic for a lot of people as well. It’d be kinda like reliving a piece of your childhood.
Narnia would be so fun to read for the first time again!…[Read more]

I haven’t listened to much musical theater, however the scores I have heard I really enjoyed! Do you have a favorite musical?
Ah, John Williams is the guy. I don’t think I know a single person that doesn’t enjoy at least some of his work. Him, and John Powell are probably my favorite movie score composers. Do you…[Read more]
