I know what you mean, @kate-flournoy , I get that way myself sometimes. I’ve found, however, that it helps if the project is fun, the goal within sight, and the challenge fairly easy to accomplish. I have just made the sad discovery that Kingdom Pen now has an age range/limit as part of some of their submissions guidelines. In under two months I will be twenty-one, and too old to submit short stories, or poems, or serial novels (not that I had any plans for the last one, but it’s worth mentioning) to Kingdom Pen, and I haven’t even started…[Read more]
