@Kate,
I knew I’d get someone’s name wrong! oops.
Yes. All of what you said, just yes. And I’m almost certain that you quoted that correctly.
@Alia,
Ok, that’s probably why it sounded familiar:). -

Oh, Kate… You asked the question. :D. Hmm… I would have to say, Mr. Lorry and Sydney Carlton. Who’s your favorite?
The end scene… It was… amazing. Just wow. 🙂 -

Once again I’m slow on replying. Sorry about that!
@TheHappyBookaholic,
I totally understand about not picking up random library books… I haven’t been in a while but when I did I was very cautious. I have read the Emily of New Moon trilogy, it has been a few years, but I remember some stuff about them. Did you read the Storygirl?
@Alia,

Don’t be TOO ashamed… Just so long as I can read it someday… 🙂
I believe it! He seems like a pretty cool character!
Alright, I’ll try 🙂 -

I agree! Curse of the Seer was not exactly how I had expected it for about two years but it was still very good!

@Kate. Yes. Yes, you are. I am DYING to know what happens. And yes, Denholm does sound like a great character!

Oh, Wow! Y’all are fast responders!
@Tatiana,
They are definitely good, although I do realize that some people have different preferences, and they don’t fit everyone’s reading taste. I would try Mossflower- if he has it- to start out on, it was one of my favorites (I realize I have pointed out Mossflower several times- but still, it’s good 😉 )

I am on the Eighteenth of Twenty-Two books. Yes, they ARE pretty chunky but very worth your time! My brother has read all of them at least once, and between us we have the entire series (I’m only lacking the last one thanks to a good friend who was getting rid of them.) The last one was not written entirely in good Brian Jacques fashion as…[Read more] -

I understand that! I have several words that I do that with… Unfortunately.
I also understand that second bit. I had a small word limit on my last story- I almost died* because I was wanting scenes that were very enjoyable to write but didn’t help move the story along, so they got cut.
🙂
Wow! SO reassuring, Kate. But I guess that’s kind…[Read more] -

Kate,
I know! Super sorry about that!It’s great to be back on!
I am sad to say I have not, (let’s just say losing the bag it was in didn’t help- but that only delayed it like two days- the rest is just me being a terrible person and forgetting about it. Don’t ask me how. I actually don’t know.) YES! I am absolutely loving it now that I’ve figured…[Read more] -

Hi Kate,
I’m definitely no expert, and others will most likely disagree, but here are a couple of things I noticed, mainly from a reader’s standpoint.
In the bit where Denholm (nice name, by the way, I really enjoyed its uniqueness) is holding the chair, it says, ” He underestimated the other’s skill.” I didn’t see (from a reader’s standpoint) h…[Read more] -

Hope, I have heard that they weren’t as good as the Percy Jackson series, but I wouldn’t be a fair judge of that, not having read them.
Sarah, I have not read either of those series, but they sound interesting:).
I have heard that, oh, what’s it called, “Great Expectations”? was one of the best of Dicken’s works, has anyone read it? I have…[Read more] - Load More
