(Jake, very angry) “Don’t bring him into this.”

Jake misses the ledge being reminded of this person and catches himself, showing that this is a touchy issue for him.

(Paris) “regardless, you’d better not fail.”

“I don’t want a repeat of fabian.”

(Paris) “Why’d i need to do that? the gravitys low and I spent more than you’re worth on those bionics.”

(Jake, irritated) “Better be prepared to spend more money if i fall.”
