December 29, 2017 at 2:57 pm #58314you know you’re a writer when you write stories about your writer friends that you have never seen. 😛
When you find small notebook of paper that you didn’t know you had not used and it makes you very, very, very, happy. Then you write on it.IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
January 12, 2018 at 8:16 pm #60021You know you’re a Kapeefer when you go to the library and see a book called Keeper and you think to yourself, “They spelled Kapeefer wrong.”
@the-real-kapeefer (thanks for that. XD) @catwing @perfectfifths @dekreel☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀
January 12, 2018 at 8:39 pm #60028@dragon-snapper XD Wow. That is SO funny. Like, ‘so’ does not even cut it. GAAH XD XD
*starts laughing maniacally*
How have I not found this thread? It’s a crime of Fate that I haven’t been here
You know you’re a writer when you start outlining your next story on the margins of the book you’re supposed to be working on for school.

You can pronounce it however you want.
January 12, 2018 at 8:52 pm #60034@dragon-snapper XDXDXD
You know you’re a writer when, not only are you working on your own stories, but you’re also alpha/beta-reading for at least five other people.
Currently reading Les Miserables
January 12, 2018 at 9:47 pm #60046@dragon-snapper @sam-kowal That’s funny!
@dekreel Resist I must. *quivers* Must I resist?
NO MORE NEW STORY IDEAS!!!

You go back and read this entire thread, because you desperately want to know what other writers are like
You are laughing and being amused the entire time because you know what almost all of those things are like
You are, at the same time, listening to an “Epic Emotional Music” playlist on Youtube, for some reason
You are deciding that you love being a writer. Also that sometimes you hate it, but mostly you love it

Also, Daeus has 22 turtles in his signature.January 12, 2018 at 10:38 pm #60065I may or may not have just stalked this entire thread *cough*
XD These things are face-splittingly funny 😀 😛 😛
@daeus that thing you said a long time ago about the light… that’s an idea that’s always fascinated me. Several scientists have actually theorized that we really do actually all see color differently, because of difference in our photo-receptors or something like that. All the same light is based on the same wavelengths, so we would all see short-wavelength light as short-wave light, etc, but it could be that not everyone’s short-wave light is something we interpret the same way…XD You probably already know this. XD Here I am, rambling on…
@kate-flournoy 😀 If the world was really completely different from the way we see it, that would be incredible. There are already different wavelengths of light we can’t see so what if it goes further than that?
@dragon-snapper *Stan starts roaring like a truly fearsome dragon**Stan starts cackling in delight*
*Stan goes and finds a nest of spiders, stuffs them in my backpack, and prepares to vanquish the greatest dragon in the world…*
XD Listening to all these writers talk about how they like to get hurt so they can learn about how it feels is really scary and kind of relatable

Also, Daeus has 22 turtles in his signature.January 12, 2018 at 10:53 pm #60071You know you are a writer when someone asks you what you do for fun, and you say, “writing,” but what you really meant to say was, “Going back and forth between being completely in love with my characters and story, and wanting to chase plot bunnies.” XP
You know you are a writer when you watch Monsters Inc. for the first time in a long while, and your mind is BLOWN by the genius introduction to the characters and the story world. And then you feel like such a nerd. 😉 (You know you’re a writer when you realize you’re a writing nerd and it makes you happy.)
@sam-kowal Yes! This thread is the bestiest.Blog: https://weridasusual.home.blog/
January 13, 2018 at 8:30 am #60091@Sam-Kowal I actually think about that more than I probably should… 😛 The possibilities are just so fascinating!
January 13, 2018 at 11:44 am #60109@kate-flournoy 😀 XD XD Actually, me too. I come up with the craziest ideas, and there is so much to think about. I actually really irked my younger brother by telling him that what you see isn’t really everything around you, its actually just a picture of everything around you that is being built directly in your eyes… which is why some people are colorblind.
Another thing that completely surprised me, which isn’t really a theory, its been proven, is that nothing in the entire world really has substance, because its 99% empty space- when you push on a table, you aren’t even touching it, the electrons in your fingers are actually just getting really close and repelling the electrons in the table

Also, Daeus has 22 turtles in his signature.January 13, 2018 at 12:22 pm #60114@sam-kowal That’s so cool! I feel like there is a story idea somewhere in this…
You know you are a writer when you get story ideas from hearing cool facts.
