@graciegirl the amount of disgust I feel at myself when that happens isn’t humanly healthy.
You know you’re a writer when you have blogger friends that you talk to more than your real friends.
April 4, 2017 at 5:52 pm #29406You know you are a writer when it bothers you to read poorly written books, but at the same time it gives you hope because you realized that if this person could get published, then you can too.
April 4, 2017 at 6:13 pm #29407@princessfoo Yessss! All the time!

April 5, 2017 at 7:57 am #29456You know you’re a writer when you can’t use certain words because no one knows what they mean.
You know you’re a procrastinator if you have to put a sign on the top of your computer that says ‘back to work’.☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀

April 5, 2017 at 12:27 pm #29470@dragon-snapper You know you’re a procrastinator when you see someone mention the sign on the top of their computer that says “back to work” and think ‘I need that. Why haven’t I done that yet?’
April 5, 2017 at 12:39 pm #29471@adry_grace Myeah…procrastinators of the world, unite! Whenever you get around to it.

April 6, 2017 at 7:41 pm #29588You know you are a writer when you snicker over something particularly witty your character has just said, and then congratulate yourself for writing something worth snickering over.

@dragon-snapper I joke sometimes that I should put “Good at procrastinating” on my future resume, next to “Good at quoting myself in academic essays” and “Good at coughing” (I had pneumonia a couple years ago, and the doctor said that I was good at coughing correctly.)April 24, 2017 at 12:41 pm #31364You know you’re a writer when you you’re trying to think of a movie to watch, and you remember a really cool scene that seems just like what you are in the mood for. But you can’t put you’re finger on the title. “What movie was that from again?” You consult a family member, and then you remember just then, that it’s merely a figment of your imagination. A scene from your book.

April 24, 2017 at 2:25 pm #31368@dragon-snapper you know, I can’t say that I’ve ever done that one.
You know you’re a writer when you have to sleep on the couch and as you’re laying there staring at the ceiling you think, “I am going to get no sleep tonight either way. Might as well work on my story.”
You know you’re a writer when you think plot twists are a gift and something nice to do for readers.
April 24, 2017 at 5:55 pm #31370@Adry-Grace But plot twists are nice…aren’t they?
Or is that my writer coming out? XD

April 24, 2017 at 6:09 pm #31372@adry_grace Really? I’ve done it so many times, it’s almost annoying. *sighs* If only my book were a movie… 😛

April 24, 2017 at 8:25 pm #31375@dragon-snapper I’ve done something very similar. 😆 We keep up a constant stream of movie/book quotes in my house and, every once in a while, either me or one of my siblings will say something from my WIP.
“Now, what’s that from?”
“Grace, it’s from your book.”
“Oh. OH, you’re right! Hey, I like, wrote that!” *geeks out*
😂*is probably geeking out about something*
April 24, 2017 at 10:10 pm #31377@dragon-snapper I do that all the time. *sigh….* Sometimes someone will ask me my favorite books, and I’ll think of this really cool book, and then I’ll remember that it’s my own. :/
