Awesome!
I’m afraid I’m hitting a rough spot. I’m trying to build up to and write a torture scene, and that’s always insanely hard for me.

Me too!! I’m still waiting to get word on what we’re watching! XD Aww, well it’s my first draft and after doing CWW where you literally had to cram 200-300 words in like ten minutes (Okay, I’m the only one who tried to do that ’cause I’m competitive and I was in a competition) I learned to just write whatever and worry about how it sounded later. Which is why my docs gets lit up with red and blue underlines. XD But that’s still AWESOME! Every word counts! Oooh, that line sounds intense!!!!! You’re doing GREAT!! YAY!!!! I have one gal who told me she was so excited she was literally counting down the days. XD
Anyway, I just popped in to tell @abigail-m and @joy-caroline that y’all are doing A M A Z I N G!!!! You guys should feel SUPER PROUD of what you’ve accomplished thus far!!! Keep them words a coming!!!! WHOOOOO!!!!!!!! GGGOOOO ABIGAIL AND JC!!!! *waving pom poms and attempting to twirl a baton around*

You gotta be superhuman to do that. I can’t write 300 words in 10 dang minutes. *viciously pounding my keyboard and wishing Seth would make himself easier to write*
I am soo excited! This TWN thingy is gonna be so much fun. Haha, thanks for the cheers!!

I wish I had some advice for you, if I think of any, I’ll let you know. But since I have no advice, here’s some encouragement/truth: You Can Do It!
January 22, 2021 at 10:42 pm #89903Thank you! 🙂

Haha, thanks! I asked one of my friends for help yesterday and she sent me this hilarious sample paragraph that made me shriek with laughter. 😂

I found this last week and thought it was kind of relevant (for me anyway).

How many words have you written? I’ve written 310 – not as much as I would have liked, but I’m only about 620 words away from 2k. So I guess it’s not that bad.

I just checked. I’m at 1,366 words, but it’s all first draft quality stuff since the idea for this scene came to me recently. I haven’t come to terms with myself in buckling down to the major rewrite of my WIP, so I’m getting all my filler scenes together and I suppose I’ll have to chop out what I don’t need later. Oh well.

Sounds good! And it’s better to chop out than leave in stuff you don’t like, I guess.
I’m thinking of working on The Apostle’s Sister at the same time as The Anointed, just in case I find when I write through The Anointed that I don’t like it after all. I may start using the method for TAS that @godlyfantasy12 recommended – writing all the scenes on slips of paper, then putting them in a box and randomly choosing one to write on a given day.

I’m two minutes away from the two hours and I’ll admit that’s the most words I’ve gotten in a single day all month!
My last sentence is:
‘Since she was unable to relate her plan to them, they all had to place their faith in her that she knew what she was doing.’
Okay, maybe not Leo Tolstoy.
But this was really fun:)What was your last sentence? If you don’t want to say, I completely understand. Just wondering:)

That sounds like an awesome method! I may try it myself sometime:)

310 is really good btw. Much better than when I do ‘0’ a day.

Yay! It’s 9:00 over here now. Congrats!!
My last sentence was A red mist sprays across the steps, and I can’t breathe, much less move.
Yeah, not so good. But at least I try, hehe.
It’s been great writing with ya!
