But first… I wrote a something. I’m not sure how this turned into a scary flash fiction… But it’s not really scary if you know what I’m talking about. Then it’s a comedy. 🙂 This was supposed to just be a dramatic announcement, that turned into a poem, into a comedy. This is why I’m a writer. 😛*static* Is it working? *static* *taps mic*

To whom it may concern,
I missed it.
I missed all of it.
It had transpired the day I was gone.
Of all the days it could’ve been,
it was that Sunday.
I was on the other side of Atlanta,
ignorantly thinking all was the same.
But it wasn’t.
They had arrived.
Twins of biological lawn mowers.
Wobbling, then standing.
Crying, and hungry.
Ready to force you to release a sound,
with just a look.
They are creeping into the net,
With the fluffs that still hold it in their clawed grasp.
It’s probably too late for me.
Save yourselves.*tapping sounds* Second person: What was that? *static*
First person: Them. *static* We need to go. *static* *running footsteps* *static* *falling noises* Don’t look them in the eye! *static*
Second person: Awwwww… *static* It’s so cute!
First person: Nooooo… *static* They’re adorable!
*tiny bleating noises* *click*Tada! Here they are! 😀
Nehi (The older girl, looks like her mom)
Shasta (the smaller/younger girl)
Everyone reading this in their email: What? What’s this weird story? Why is she naming sodas?What is happening? *wonders about Catwing’s sanity*

They are so adorable!!!! 😀 😀 😀 I love goats. But especially goat babies.
I’m sorry you missed the birth, (I think I’m interpreting that part of your confusing story correctly?) but honestly, they’re cuter once they’re dried off anyway. 😉 In my opinion, at least.

Yep. I was gone.
*nods* My mom had taken some pictures and video of when they were newly born. They were pretty wet.Thanks my mom came up with them. 🙂

@catwing And since I don’t drink soda, I didn’t realize their names were from sodas until now. 😛
So when I said I liked their names, I meant that I liked them simply for their sound as names, not as references to soda. 😉
Do you name all your animals after foods/drinks? Are there systems for naming them? One of our dog families has all patriotic names, (such as Liberty and Justice) and our cats are always named musical terms (such as Musette and Crescendo).

Yeah I like the names too.Well, the goats have all been food/drink names so far (Buttermilk Biscuit, Oreo Unicorn, Nehi Cookie (I think we decided on the cookie part, I could be wrong), Shasta (I think it was decided Pint or Half Pint. I could wrong.).
The chickens everyone got to name some of them so it’s mixed. Same with the dogs and cats.IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
