@rochellaine @seekjustice @alia @jenwriter17 @bluejay @ariel-ashira @catwing I’m here!As mentioned before, I have some exciting news, particularly for Rochellaine or SeekJustice, but I will tell anyone willing to listen haha.
You can pronounce it however you want.
December 18, 2018 at 12:31 am #78352@dekreel I can’t write right now, but I’d love to hear this news you are bursting with. 😉

Anyway, I um. . . watched The Phantom of the Opera for the first time. . . I don’t know if you’re big on musicals or anything heheh. . . I’m not either, but this one was good.
You can pronounce it however you want.
December 18, 2018 at 12:46 am #78354@dekreel AHA YES I AM! 😀 I didn’t even notice! XD
Oh, yeah I actually haven’t seen that many musicals. *cringes* I’ve heard a lot about The Phantom of the Opera, but I haven’t watched it. 🙂
Yeah I guess this news was best for @seekjustice and @rochellaine, lol! 😀 (a.k.a. The Musical Experts 😛 )

www.jennaterese.comDecember 18, 2018 at 7:09 pm #78356Hello! Sorry, I was out last night, but I’m back now! You saw Phantom? As in, the movie or the actual stage version? I enjoy both, but the stage version is superior.

December 18, 2018 at 7:47 pm #78358You watched Phantom? That’s cool 😀 What do you like best about it?
Hi, what’s up? 🙂
December 18, 2018 at 9:08 pm #78359Not much at the moment. I’m currently just making an antagonist for Wattle Fire and trying to find a good old, suitably weird Puritan name

December 18, 2018 at 10:04 pm #78360Oh so Wattle Fire is going to have a human antagonist now?
Ah, creating villains can be so fun. 😛 Are you looking for a fitting Puritan name or an ironic one?
December 18, 2018 at 10:10 pm #78361Well, the human antagonist is more a personification of the force of nature antagonist I had before. I thought that would help make it a bit more personal, rather than just a vague threatening presence.
Either would work. the villain is a surprise reveal sort of thing, so maybe an ironic name could work better.

December 18, 2018 at 10:24 pm #78362I see. I like giving my MCs very personal connections to the villains. Mostly because it helps in making conversations with the villains not-boring (How many interesting ways can, “I’m stopping you because you’re evil!” or, “I’m stopping you to save the world!” be said?) 😀
Yes, an ironic one would work. Same goes for a fitting one (i.e. taking a virtuous trait too far).
December 19, 2018 at 1:13 am #78363Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I’ve found that I enjoy very few books/movies with absent villains (and even ones like Lord of the Rings that have a largely absent villain in Sauron have very personal villains in Denethor, Gollum and Saruman).
I’m still scanning the archives of Puritan America, but for some reason I’m not thinking that “Job-raked-out-of-ashes” is a great name).

December 19, 2018 at 9:56 pm #78364I’ve got a weird question for you Americans. In Australia, we usually walk on the same side of the footpath as we drive on the road, that being the right side. My family has currently bamboozled themselves wondering whether you walk on the left side of the footpath or the right side. 😛

December 19, 2018 at 11:13 pm #78365We try to walk on the right side for the most part. 🙂
