@anna-brie, I’m so sorry! I don’t have time today. Maybe tomorrow? Try me then. I can’t guarantee that I’ll be free but I’ll try! 😉

July 28, 2016 at 2:34 am #15124@ClaireC That’s fine. I actually wrote for over an hour before checking back here. Tomorrow would be great. I’m taking part in a word war from Friday to Sunday and want to get a lot done then.
July 28, 2016 at 6:10 am #15126@anna-brie, Not sure when I’ll be free tomorrow, but I’ll do my best! What’s a word war?

July 28, 2016 at 8:05 am #15127It’s actually a little like what we do here, but more competitive. You race to see who can write the most in a set period of time. In this case three whole days.
July 29, 2016 at 10:08 am #15132Hey, in case there’s any morning-ers out there, I’ll be writing for about an hour.

July 29, 2016 at 11:50 am #15133Hey, Daeus! I’m working on my Nanowrimo novel right now, so I guess I will be writing with you! 🙂 Good luck!

July 29, 2016 at 2:45 pm #15136Sure! I’ll start at 9:00 am if that’s okay with you! 🙂
July 29, 2016 at 7:55 pm #15140@kate-flournoy You writing tonight?

July 29, 2016 at 7:57 pm #15141@Daeus yes sir. See you at nine.
July 29, 2016 at 9:01 pm #15142@Daeus 904 words edited, which is actually pretty good considering I was working on a very emotional scene and those are always slow going. What did you get?
July 29, 2016 at 9:06 pm #15143@kate-flournoy Oh, don’t you love those scenes. I wrote 1,115.

July 29, 2016 at 9:08 pm #15144@Daeus actually I do… was that sarcasm? 😀
And yikes, that’s quite a word-count. Are you still editing TATHOF?July 29, 2016 at 9:15 pm #15145@kate-flournoy Actually, that wasn’t sarcasm.
I am editing TATHOF. Just finished chapter six. Oh, I am so glad I changed POV. Thanks for backing me up on that one. Not that I don’t like omnipotent, it’s my favorite, but it wasn’t working with this book. Changing that is fixing pretty much all my major problems: Awkward phrasing, shallow characterization … lots of things. It kinda gives me a fresh view of things too which is helpful in spicing things up a bit. Everybody needs some fresh air. (Catch that reference?)

July 29, 2016 at 9:19 pm #15146@Daeus well, I’m glad to hear it. That’s a lot of work, changing POV— especially changing from a single line of it to one for each one of the important characters. It would be pretty awful if it was all for nothing.
No… I don’t catch it. 😛 Should I? -
