Sweet! Nah, I’ve never seen a live musical, but I really want to. How was Newsies?

June 7, 2018 at 12:42 am #74014@seekjustice Ten o’clock? After knowing me, do you think you even have the right to consider that late? 😛 Yeah, you’ve talked to me a few times as late as that, I think. When I get up at 7:00 or 8:00 and post sometimes you’re still awake.
@sarah-anson THE KINGDOM IS NOT DEAD! Why would you suggest such a thing?! 😉 Well, glad you’re back. And actually pretty glad there’s another writer here who doesn’t write ten thousand words a day like SeekJustice here. It’s rather intimidating, considering that I think myself well off if I can get in a couple hundred words a day…and that’s on special occasions when I actually convince myself that writing won’t be a total disaster. 😛 Thankfully, I can catch up with her when it comes to editing, which apparently she hates and I love. She edits really slowly. I’ve been waiting to read her second draft of her famous work, Stars Fill Infinity, for forever. 😉 No pressure, SeekJustice. None at all. *coughs*"Sylvester - Sylvester!"

June 7, 2018 at 12:48 am #74017@sarah-anson Newsies was amazing. I didn’t expect it to be nearly as good as it was, since I knew it wasn’t a Broadway production, but just a dinner theater. But I was amazed at what great dancers the boys playing the newsies were, and with a live orchestra and really good singing voices and great acting, I don’t see how it could have been better on Broadway except that there would have been a bigger stage. And a bigger stage would have meant that I wasn’t up close like I was, since I was on the ground level with nothing separating me from the stage except the difference between the carpet and the wooden floor, and the newsies so close I could have touched them…
So all in all, I’m glad it was in the little dinner theater, because it was so close up and exciting, and the production was good enough for any broadway musical in my opinion. 😉

June 7, 2018 at 12:49 am #74018I have, for the record, written 10k in a day. Not that I’m bragging or anything.
I’m aaaallmosttt at the end of Part 1 though, that means the first 25k done. After, a month or something. Urgh…

June 7, 2018 at 12:50 am #74019Calm down, calm down. I was refering to the lack of amazing posts(off the forums). Haha, yes, I’m more of a “write six thousand words one day, write nothing else for the next three weeks” kind of person. I failed the Go Teen Writers 100-for-100 writing challenge within the first four days. XD
See y’all around. I shall return.
(Later. When I’m not as tired.)

June 7, 2018 at 12:56 am #74021For my book? Only too happy to oblige 🙂

This is the unedited first draft. Be warned.

June 7, 2018 at 12:59 am #74022@seekjustice Haha, nope. I’ve written a couple of thousand words in a day a few times, I think. I agree with Sarah. I’ll go for three weeks without writing anything, and then write 100 words, then realize that I’ve gotten past the confusing part and write a thousand words the next day. 😛 I think the best word for it is sporadic. I’m not a methodical person at all. 😀 *grins weirdly and waves arms around* Who wants to be methodical?
@sarah-anson *takes deep breaths* Ah, I see. I’m calm. 😛 Oh yes, I write in precisely the same manner. When I happen to write, I write. When I don’t, my readers get annoyed. Simple. 🙂Okay, goodnight. See you later! (Later, when you’re not as tired. 😉 )

June 7, 2018 at 1:11 am #74023I’m sporadic too. I’ll write 90k in two and a half weeks and then won’t start a new project for months. 😛
I’m quite pleased with my editing progress though. I thought it was going to crash and burn a few thousand words in lie they usually do, but it hasn’t yet. I guess because I have the whole of KP dogging my tracks. ;P

June 7, 2018 at 1:16 am #74025@seekjustice Okay, you’re sporadic on a larger scale than I am. 😛
Yes, you are the new KP celebrity writer. You know, I never wrote that fanfiction for you. I’ve still been planning to, but haven’t had the time yet. 🙁 I can’t wait until I get the chance, though. It’ll be so much fun. 😀

June 7, 2018 at 1:20 am #74026I honestly don’t know whether its better to be sporadic on a small or large scale. People are less likely to think you insane on a small scale.
I know, I don’t know why this rise to fame, but…well, I’m not complaining. 🙂

June 7, 2018 at 1:32 am #74027@seekjustice Haha. Oh, I have a funny story about that. My sister and I often make up new lyrics to songs we know, and were doing so at a baseball game a few weeks ago quite humorously. We were standing with my grandmother in the wheelchair section, and there weren’t many people around so we were singing loud enough that she could hear but we weren’t embarrassed since no one else was really listening. Anyway, we were making up a whole bunch of silly lyrics when I said to my grandmother, “You think we’re crazy, don’t you?”
“No,” she replied, deadpan. Surprised, I was about to respond when she continued, “I know it.”
😛 😛 😛 😛
Now my sister and I quote that all the time.

June 7, 2018 at 1:35 am #74028Oh, my mum says things like that all of the time!

June 7, 2018 at 1:40 am #74029@seekjustice 😀 Being crazy is fun.
Okay, I’m going to sign out now. I’m not sure if I’ll have a chance to be on much or at all the next couple of days since I have a lot of studying to do, but if I study hard in the mornings I might be done in time to talk a little bit at night.
Goodnight!
