@dekreel Heyo!
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
February 10, 2018 at 7:10 pm #63097@skredder Eyy! What are you working on?
You can pronounce it however you want.
February 10, 2018 at 7:14 pm #63098@dekreel I’m working on my short story for Clouded Fury. It’s almost done! 😀
What about you?
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
February 10, 2018 at 7:22 pm #63099@aislinn-mollisong You read Grace Livingston Hill?!! She’s one of the only two book authors I have listed in the favorites section of my profile! All her books are wonderful! Yes, I’ve read that one. I really like books written in in the 1910s-1930s. Have you read any other authors from that period?

February 10, 2018 at 7:32 pm #63105@rochellaine I’ve read A Voice In The Wilderness and The Enchanted Barn by her, and I’ve read those 7 times each I love them so much. Her love stories are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I don’t really know if I’ve read any books written then. I don’t really check, buut I have a suspicion I’ve mostly read books written in the last ten or twenty years. (Libraries, am I right?)
ENTP, Aether-borg Hero with cape obsession and fascination with swords.
https://forums.theaetherliFebruary 10, 2018 at 7:35 pm #63106@aislinn-mollisong Well, if you have a kindle, you can get hundreds of books from that period that are now out of print and in public domain – and therefore, free.
There are a lot of really great books written back then, because even when the authors weren’t firm Christians like Grace Livingston Hill, there was the common morality of society back then that kept the books clean.
Would you like any recommendations? (Free is good, right?)

February 10, 2018 at 7:40 pm #63107@rochellaine FREE IS VERY GOOD. Yes, recommendations would be nice. Thank you very much! 🙂

https://forums.theaetherliFebruary 10, 2018 at 7:48 pm #63108@aislinn-mollisong What genres are your favorites? There are some girls’ adventure books, boys’ adventure books, (usually more exciting than the girls books), WWI stories, Westerns, romances, “just living” stories where the characters have to face normal difficulties in everyday lives – sort of like G.L.Hill, mysteries, sci-fi(all the new inventions will have been invented by now, but that’s actually kind of cool) – I could go on…but only a few fantasy books, from when fantasy wasn’t a big genre.

February 10, 2018 at 7:50 pm #63109@aislinn-mollisong If you haven’t realized it, I love recommending books, especially these, since I hardly ever find anyone who has read them. 😀

Sorry! Had to run and do a chemistry lab XP But I’m back! Anyone still here?
Oh, and Rochellaine, congrats on becoming a Knight in Shining Armor! You earned it fast! 😉

February 10, 2018 at 9:04 pm #63120@dekreel Thanks! 🙂 I’m (sort of) still here. Been coming in and out.
