@jenwriter17 Exactly!
October 14, 2020 at 2:25 pm #85868@gracie-j ๐ So have you read any good books or watched any good movies recently? My family recently watched Saving Mr. Banks (about the making/history of the Mary Poppins movie) and it was really interesting.

@jenwriter17 I just finishedย The Convenient Marriage by Georgette Heyer–it’s a romantic classic, and it was surprisingly good. And rather humorous, if I do say so myself. (Aside from the language, of course, it was much cleaner than romances of today.) Movies…ha, ha…my brother’s had the family watching the Angry Birds movies, so no–but I do recommend theย Rocky franchise andย I Love Lucy. Classics.
What have you been reading lately?
October 14, 2020 at 2:46 pm #85874@gracie-j XD lol! My family used to watch some I Love Lucy. We also like The Andy Griffith Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show too. ๐ Do you like old shows/movies?

@jenwriter17 We love Lucy and Andy at our house too! I love old movies/shows, and so does my mom–I can’t speak for everyone else.ย Gone with the Wind is a favorite of mine, but I’m sure you’ve heard that. (Some people on here have made a really big deal out of that, you know.)
October 14, 2020 at 3:14 pm #85879@gracie-j That’s cool. ๐ I’ve heard of Gone with the Wind but I haven’t seen it yet; I should do that soon. My family also really likes westerns, like Bonanza and The Big Valley.
Well, it looks like I’m gonna have to leave for now. I’ll probably be on tomorrow though. It was nice chatting with you for a bit. ๐

@jenwriter17 Bonanza? Were y’all able to find the whole show? We’ve been wanting to watch that for a while now, but can’t stream all one million seasons anywhere and the DVDs are outrageously expensive.
Hey, I’m glad I got to hang with you too! Maybe I’ll catch you tomorrow!
October 14, 2020 at 3:27 pm #85884@gracie-j We have quite a few seasons on DVD, but we also have a tv channel in our area that plays old shows, including Bonanza.
Chat with you tomorrow hopefully! ๐

@seekjustice Still here? How are the posts coming?
@jenwriter17 @rochellaine @alia @valtmy I’ll be writing for the next hour or so (which means I’m liable to disappear at any given moment…), if anyone else is around.October 20, 2020 at 9:42 pm #86478October 20, 2020 at 9:55 pm #86479Anonymous- Rank: Eccentric Mentor

@rochellaine I’m here! What’re you working on?
October 20, 2020 at 10:06 pm #86480@gracie-j
I’m attempting to do some outlining.
I don’t like outlining. ๐

@rochellaine I feel ya. I’m trying to find a soft, soothing song written sometime in the 17th century to be played at a wedding. Or, well, less specifically, I’m working on Chapter 27 of my current novel,ย Bound and Determined.
