That’s true, I do write a lot of description! Charrie aesthetics have always been my bread and butter. I think I spend altogether too much time describing things XD Very accurate observation on your part.
(And that’s very likely to happen, he talks to arrogant rich dudes all the time… and they’ve rubbed off on him XD)

@mineralizedwritings Thx!!!And yes…he does have a love interest, but not until he moves to America. Her name is Anna Grace…she’s Southern, sweet, but a little fierce, but she’s only fierce with those she loves. 🙂 I have a reference pic of her if you want it 💖

@mineralizedwritings He’s probably living alone in an apartment, yeah…since Leo, Joshua, and Jakob are married and Wolfgang is off at Stanford University School of Medicine for a doctorate…so yeahh, poor Reuben is alone, but Leo, Joshua, and Jakob live close by. 😉

Ok, finally going to do this!! Just wrote something short, I tried to copy the scenes I’ve read from their book 😉 I hope it feels like your writing!

He closed his book and sat up, looking around the small room at his brothers. Jakob and Leo were talking, Reuben finishing a sketch, and Joshua with his Bible open.
“…we have to do something.” Jakob sounded angry. As usual.
Leo shook his head. “We can’t do anything… not right now.” He glanced at Wolfgang, who was listening, and then turned his gaze back to Jakob. “It’s too dangerous.”
Why did his brothers argue so much?
Wolfgang knew Jakob was angry about the way Leo was treated at work… the way they were all treated… but there was nothing they could do, right?
Even their own family was against them… what chance did they stand against the Nazis?
He focused back on his brothers. Joshua was talking now. “Jakob… I know you’re angry, but… this won’t change anything.”Reuben looked up from his sketching. “It would… Leo wouldn’t be hurt so much…” he said softly.

Falon looked up from the punching bag as Steve came in. “You okay?” he asked.
“Yeah just busy,” Falon told him, brushing her hands off. “Why?”
Steve raised his eyebrows. “A little early for training.”
Falon shrugged. The truth was she’d been up all night after her first failed mission yesterday.
“You know it wasn’t your fault, right?” Steve asked.
Falon shrugged again. It had been, there were people who didn’t make it because of her mistake. She turned back to the training bag.
“You should have seen my first mission,” Nat said from behind Steve. She stepped into the room and gave a small chuckle, thinking back to it.
“We all make mistakes.” Steve cleared his throat to get Fallon to look at him. “What’s important is we keep trying.”
