Ooooo…I have no idea. I usually come up with my story stuff either randomly staring off at nothing, or trying to do something I should definitely focus on but don’t really want to. But that wasn’t the question, although it may explain my answer.
I usually write whenever I am suddenly attacked by an overloading creative brain, so… I could be eating, I could be not eating (that sounds weird). I don’t have a favorite snack, as I’m not consistent enough to find one.

Lol I get that! I have been thinking about my story more lately and my parents have started asking why I’m pacing ? I walk around while writing in my head sometimes

Exactly! Only for me it’s more like Mama coming over to me and asking if I’m okay, because I’ve just been staring off at nothing with a very serious expression on my face. XD

Ah…
First off, I MUST HAVE WATER! All my family knows this, and my friends probably do to. Without water, I get headaches and become lethargic. Yeah.
As for food, I like to snack on Humis and pita chips (or any cracker I can find. Just not graham crackers. That is not a good mix.) I also like nuts, specifically almonds, pistachios, pecans, and a few cashews. (Very specific, I know) as for candy…
Chocolate, Starbursts, and sour gummies. Yeah, I usually have the first hidden somewhere in my clothing drawers… Not sure where. I may need to go find it again. 😉
But the sad truth is, that I rarely have these on hand when I’m writing. Maybe once in a while, and then it’s usually a small bit of chocolate or such like smidgen of easily eaten thing.
However, WATER is crucial. Did I tell you what happens when I don’t have it? Yes? Ok.

Yep. It’s been happening a lot to me since I started writing. My mom’s like “You’re really quite”
And I’m just sat in the back of the car planning out the emotional falling action for book 2 in my head…
And she asks why i’m pacing. I think I figured walking while doing nothing looks more normal than sitting at the table staring and doing nothing lol.
I don’t blame her lol, if I had a kid who acted like that I’d want to know why too ?

@wilder-w Whatever I have on hand, really…..could be crackers, cheese, a turkey slice, a piece of bread…….Chocolate if my mom’s left it out for me, but usually no other candy.

@koshka Yes! Someone who stares off at space with a serious expression! Yes, I do that ALL the time when I’m overloaded by my creative brain! Oh, and it’s alright that you don’’t have a favorite snack…it took my a long time to find mine…maybe one day you’ll find your true snack lol.

That is my favorite snack besides melted milk chocolate chips with hot chocolate powder stirred into the melted mixture (it’s really good!). And yeah, I’m a bit weird, but eh, weird is the new normal. Oh, and I’m a follower of Elohim, Yahweh, and Jesus. Yup!

I love all gummies. All chocolate. All sour things. Yeah.
