@kathleenramm Look at me… digging through old TotW posts again… XD but this was a good topic! I can’t ignore it! 😉

I do a lot of tropes commonly, actually. Hmm. I have quite a few romance subplots, and almost ALL of my main-main characters have an “I-ran-away-from-home” backstory for some reason. Idk why XD but I use that one a lot. Surprisingly, I have only one redemption arc in my entire fantasy series (currently), and I’m even surprised at myself because it’s an increasingly popular trope nowadays, I kinda thought it’d show up more in my work. But at the same time, no one wants a story with a bunch of overdone tropes.

In my other works (besides my main series), I also do the “villain protagonist” trope often, where the protag is morally grey or is actually a bad guy. I do love that trope.

I also have a lot of war/conflict in my series. That’s probably my most common trope. :p
