This might be a relatively short-lived topic, but it’s worth having.
So, what should we call ourselves? One Year Adventure Novel people are OYANers. Are we KPers? Are we Knights of the Kingdom Pen? Are we Pen Wielders? Warriors? Rangers?
Anyway, thought that might be a delightful dilemma for everyone.
Maybe we can even have knighting ceremonies or something for everyone once we decide. 😉March 28, 2016 at 6:00 pm #10384I’ve always been a KPer myself.

March 28, 2016 at 7:24 pm #10390That’s a great idea, Rosey! We should nominate you master of the ceremonies, (is that the right term?) since it was your idea.
I’ve always thought of myself as a KPer, but I’m not against changing that. 🙂 From that list, Knights of Kingdom Pen is my favorite.March 28, 2016 at 8:10 pm #10399Yeah, I’d say I’m a KPer… but Knights of Kingdom Pen sounds awesome! 🙂 I agree with you, @sarah-h. @writefury, you’d better get busy writing up something to say to newly dubbed knights. 😉
March 28, 2016 at 8:57 pm #10403Hey, ya know KPrs looks a lot like keepers. Maybe we could be the KPrs of the realm of the pen. Sounds like an order of warrior monks. We could all wear hoodies and swords and walk around saying “grace, peace, and high word counts to you my brother”.

@Daeus, Oh my word, that’s an awesome name! 🙂March 29, 2016 at 10:57 am #10414@writefury
This is an awesome idea! 🙂 🙂 🙂A dreamer who believes in the impossible...and dragons. (INFJ-T)
March 29, 2016 at 12:28 pm #10419KeePers of the Kingdom? 😉
Grace, peace, and high word counts to you, my brothers! And… er… sisters.
*laughs hysterically*
That’s awesome, @Daeus!
March 29, 2016 at 1:10 pm #10424@kate-flournoy “Yea Sister, verily.”

March 29, 2016 at 1:22 pm #10426@Daeus— Verily, saidst thou? Pray, what is this verily of which thou speakest, brother? Methinks thou dost speak of some… some word of olden times, but alas! I have no skill in the understanding of such antiquated languages… thy ‘verily’ hath quite overcome me…
*claps hand over mouth, smothers hysterical snicker*
Sorry, couldn’t resist. You should know better than to get into an Old English verbal war with a dragon. 😉

March 29, 2016 at 1:51 pm #10429@kate-flournoy Forsooth Sister, wherefore doest thou complain of so uncouth a speech as I may make? Whither wendist thine imagination to so great a height as to miss its first steps, I vouch my honor doth verily confound my noggin.

Complain, sirrah? Nay, I did but query as to thy meaning, forsooth. I pledge mine honor, if heretofore thy word in question (verily) hath entered into my knowledge I knew it not, nor, methinks, should be held accountable.
Thus I plead my case to thee, sirrah— mind thy words, unless mayhap thou dost desire a dragon’s ire upon thy head!March 29, 2016 at 3:06 pm #10436So this is kinda freaky. Like, one moment you think you’re talking to a girl, and then the next she turn into a dragon. I mean, I know we talk about fantasy and such occasionally but -. I hope she doesn’t eat me. So – like, isn’t there a rule against having claws on the forum. I should probably report this.
Is this something that only happens to writers????
Is this something that only happens to me????????? @writefury have you ever been talking to someone when suddenly they turn into a dragon?
Should I go see a psychiatrist????
Should I get a bodyguard????

March 29, 2016 at 3:11 pm #10438Perfectly normal for writer’s forums, @daeus. I should know. XD
In the meantime… @kate-flournoy… *wags finger disapprovingly* You should at least be polite if you’re going to turn into a dragon without warning. -
