So here’s one I’ve only started then got stumped on.
What do y’all think?
In a small shepherd’s village
In a humble blessed cottage
A carpenter’s tools grind
As Joseph works to provide.
A mother’s melody rings
As Mary works and sings.
I hear a toddler’s squeak
As Jesus attempts to walk.
On a journey of many leagues
Approaches a caravan of eastern kings.
Who saw a star and knew it’s meaning
And are bearing gifts to celebrate a King.
The king of a land that’s foreign
Acknowledging that He is to reign
They are bringing their greatest riches
Their gold, myrrh, and frankincense.
