This is a place where people can post writing prompts (I know, you probably never would have guessed from the name) to help inspire people who are low on inspiration or just want to do something different and fun.
They can be prompts you made up, or ones you stole from somewhere else. They can be anything from one word to multiple sentences, dialogue prompts, etc. Anything, really.
This is a no-pressure thing. It is not a challenge or a contest, there is no deadline and prompts never ‘expire’. If you see a prompt you like, write a scene or short story of it and post it here (if you want). You can write as many or few as you want or just post prompts. Or not participate at all. The LoWP is stalker-friendly (does that sound bad? That sounds bad).
We also have security dragons to take care of the hooligans. You have been warned.
Anyways, I’m rambling.

You are the town’s super hero. Your greatest enemy is the town’s supervillain. However, secretly you’re both brothers. This isn’t anything tragic, as your whole destructive rivalry is actually just a massive prank on your third brother, the mayor.

Aha- this is awesome!
– a young journalist takes on a job at a news outlet, but quickly discovers news is being released that isn’t true. The journalist begins getting death threats when they try to report the truth, and has to come to a decision- stand for the truth and run the risk of their job (and possibly their life) or keep the lid on the pot and forever live with the guilt of knowing they could have done something to change the tide?
-a school lockdown occurs, but instead of the usual drill, it’s a pretext so the FBI can come in and take certain groups of students to a concentration camp of sorts
