That looks like a functional possibility. *Nods to self* Yes, if the dear old Kingdom of Pen collapses, we won’t be left behind buried in the rubble.

I know. Ideally, I would have preferred to help them fix the bugs on this website, but unfortunately, it’s come to this.
Also, having looked at the YWW (YDubs) page set up, I really appreciate the simplicity of KP’s page function. Topics on YWW are continuous scroll, which makes it insanely hard to find stuff. Thing wanted always buried. With the pages in KP You can actually note down where things are, and they don’t shift around or vanish under a load of new topics.
I will keep that in mind, thank you! I hope the “projects” feature I am working on will make it even easier to find things. I will have to see what you all think of it.

October 4, 2025 at 5:52 am #207860I dub thee the official Kingdom Pen Architect, an honorary title for the work you’ve been doing on the website.
It’s my current mission to give everyone on kp honorary titles.

Mighty thanks. My coworker has told me that she is going to buy me a fake monicle. This seems… fitting.

Again, please tag anyone you know who would want to see this. I’m just tagging the people who have been interested already.
All right!
I don’t know if some of you have seen this already or not, but I am now making the prototype for the replacement website live! Check it out in the link bellow:
Christian Writer’s Website Prototype
Now a couple of things to note:
- This is a prototype, not an actual website. Essentially, I’m setting up a series of art boards to illustrate what the website could potentially look like. However, this does have some functionality. For example, clicking on a link can take you to another page. Not all links work. If you click on something that does not work, you should see a lot of things flash blue, indicating what you can click.
- You will be logged in as me. Don’t worry about it.
- Not everything is final. Colour and fonts are just the default, and layout is subject to change.
- I am still working on this, so if you see things suddenly move around, get added, change, or disappear, don’t worry.
- The books on the ‘Books’ page are real and written by my sister.
- You!
- Yes you! I’m talking to you!
- Go and click on the ‘Buy on Amazon’ link associated with my sister’s books and buy yourself a copy of both of them. She would mightily appreciate it.
So yeah, jump on the link, play around and explore what you can. I challenge you to find the account page. Do you have any questions, feel lost on the website, or have any other inquiries? Please let me know.
I plan to finish the prototype in the next week or so. Lord willing, not too long after that, I will put together a presentation video talking about the prototype, whether or not we should proceed with it, and different ways you can help if we do.
Thank you for your feedback and support so far, everyone!

October 14, 2025 at 1:10 pm #207958this looks managable. I like KP better, but I think I’m biased. lol. Anyhow, it looks like it could def. be a good option.

October 15, 2025 at 11:41 am #207964Thank you!
I can’t quite promise a second Kingdom Pen, but I hope what I do give will be able to stand out on its own.

October 15, 2025 at 11:56 am #207965Wow, you’ve put a ton of work into that. it looks like a real working website.
It honestly looks a lot like the Parf Edhellen website, just a lot easier to navigate (at least for a snooper like me who doesn’t have an account for ParfEd and just cares about the dictionary). I like it.
As much as I hope KP gets fixed, I do so appreciate there being a backup community center. There’s just something special about this group.

October 15, 2025 at 3:45 pm #207971October 15, 2025 at 3:47 pm #207972I just added in the project pages. Open the prototype, log in, select projects under my account, and click on The Narrow Path Trilogy to check it out! I’ll be adding in pages to see individual chapters and artwork soon.

The basic prototype is finished!
In case you missed the link:

Please explore it. I would appreciate any feedback you guys have.
So what’s the next step?
I’m going to try to prepare a presentation that I will share in the coming weeks, going through the prototype and deciding what the next steps will be if we decide to go ahead with it.
Thanks everyone!

October 22, 2025 at 3:35 pm #208030It’s a beautiful site! I find it pretty easy to navigate. I like how you’ve taken the foundational pieces of KP like the different sections in the forum community and built on them to make something a little more elaborate. The project pages look AMAZING. It’s great to have a place to share work under one’s profile. I also love the closed community aspect which makes sharing writing like that much more comfortable. Considering how helpful the KP blog is, I like that there’s a place for that too. (It’s basically our library with articles like YWW has with lessons.) The place for sharing books published by members is also nice, for marketing but encouraging to see achievements like that.
One thing I just ran into while looking at it on a laptop: The whole page is not visible, and it does not scroll. I’m guessing when it’s actually functional that won’t be an issue, it was just odd since I could see more on my phone than my computer. That might account for the fact that while I could get to the Genre-Writing section by hitting Left and Right on my keyboard, I could not find the actual route to that page.
Anyway, great work!
