I have deliberated over each and every name and the means reflect the character. I cannot change them. They will forever be Roland and Rolf. But, it’ll be okay, because you won’t be seeing them together anymore.

I was milking her…and she hit me in the face with her tail. Well, it’s happened many of times, so I received different kinds of lashes. The ones I’m thinking of when I read about Rolf was the horrid dry-tail flicks. It usually hurts the most when only a few strands of their tail hit your face.
But man, they hurt bad. Catching your eyeball is the worst ever! The cows are so strong that even a simple tail flick can render a milker blind with tears and pain for some minutes.
But, I’d rather have a dry stinging lash…than a slobbing manure slap on my face… *gagging* Fortunately, that didn’t often happen to me, but some other family members…cringe*
