*Squeaks*
Just felt bad leaving Leo where he was and returning to MG.And technically we came up with two separate premises that I shoved into one and covered with cookie crumbs and dying leaves.XD
I think madam, you may be dubbed The Lady Letter Opener, if others agree. You have both steel and letters in thy arsenal, so steel for letters in thy gift. *Curtsey*
Honestly call yourself what you want. I named myself the Nursery Rhymer, and I hardly ever share my poetry with KP anyway (not adverse to an official title either. Or The Local Amnesiac for lack of something better. Lol)

February 14, 2026 at 9:29 am #210809you should. Leo is going to desert and come join me because I will write his story. So there.
The only difference was I thought it would be much funnier if it was a collage kid. And yes, I guess the prophesy and the fearie were not supposed to be in the same book to begin with. But still…….Call me what you want. I don’t care. My secret name will always be the resident psychopath. lol. Or maybe “death wing” because I got named that because I was trying to make everyone’s characters die……. (or so people thought) *shrug* It wasn’t my fault either. I was just so disillusioned with the characters always surviving just because they were the MCs and for no other reason. That bothers me to no end. I don’t care if they survive for a real reason.
anyways.

….
That’s not too bad a title, if you want it. The Resident Psychopath.
The difference my dear, is that I only kill characters if I have a good enough reason.

February 14, 2026 at 11:05 am #210811I don’t think it would be a good thing if Leo deserted his current authoress… especially for the resident psychopath.. XD
I’m actually very excited about this Fairy project, and I think if it’s finished, Leo stands a good chance of getting written too. (And getting written better than he would be now.) That’s my theory. Don’t tell Koshka. ?
You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan
February 14, 2026 at 12:11 pm #210812@elishavet-pidyon lol I like those too.
"When in doubt, eat cheese crackers."-me to my charries who don't even know about cheese crackers
February 14, 2026 at 2:50 pm #210813I always have a reason. I dare you to find a character I killed without reason. *British sniff*

February 14, 2026 at 2:54 pm #210814btw, it was very fun reading those emails from you while the website was down. Would you want to take the title of Official KP News Reporter/ Messenger Bird Caretaker? (Since you have all the emails lol)
awww! I just saw this!! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I am an optimistic conspiracy theorist which means I am never taken off guard by plots and meet each twist with a laugh. Lol. I will say I was kind of stressed but was doing my best to keep everyone’s spirits up. ?And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music

February 14, 2026 at 9:47 pm #210818In a country where true family is forbidden and marriage is a crime
Not to entirely derail the KP title drama, but I was just thinking about your blurb. I may have asked this question when you first talked about this but I don’t remember ? How does this work? Why is marriage a crime?
I feel like this would be an interesting fantasy concept

February 14, 2026 at 9:54 pm #210819Delightfully whimsical-sounding! I shall look at what you sent me. It’s been a log time since I read the perspective of an unrelatable narrator.
What kind of prophecy is it?
Actually I should just start reading instead of asking you. But you can answer if the answer isn’t a big spoiler and doesn’t show up in what you sent me.

February 15, 2026 at 1:52 am #210820Lol. He starts off sounding reliable. But he happens to believe a similar lie to the MC, so partway into the story you get to suddenly realize something doesn’t add up.
Or at least, that’s the plan. Who knows. I might make him the only person who knows the truth, but make that truth kinda hard to believe. We’ll see.
The prophesy is, in fact, described in the snippet. XD

February 15, 2026 at 5:25 pm #210821They don’t marriage. People can live together, but no covenant or commitment. It started out as a war against the church, but then they realized that it is easier to control the people. Without a family to fight and provide for, men loose their purpose. (It was actually a strategy developed by communist Russia though it was never fully established) It was then picked up by N.O.W. and you can see it in their call and answer creed.
“Why are we here today?” she asked.
“To make revolution,” they answered.
“What kind of revolution?”
“The Cultural Revolution,” they chanted.
“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?” she demanded.
“By destroying the American family!” they answered.
“How do we destroy the family?”
“By destroying the American Patriarch,” they cried exuberantly.
“And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?”
“By taking away his power!”
“How do we do that?”
“By destroying marriage!”~An early meeting of The National Organization of Women, (N.O.W.)
New York City, 1969Children come from the birthing lottery and have guardian(s) which is just anyone twenty one or older. They can then chose to remain in their guardian’s home or move on at the age of 18. So yeah, it started as an attack on the Christian homes and turned into a power move.

That’s really interesting. I’ll have to look into it. Sometimes I hear about a government control strategy I didn’t know about previously and sometimes it’s like “oh wow that’s really smart in an evil way.”
People can live together, but no covenant or commitment. It started out as a war against the church, but then they realized that it is easier to control the people.
Okay this is kind of confusing if you mean this to be a futuristic America, because there’s no way people would give up having romantic relationships and freedom to be with who they want how they want. People, by nature, want to have fulfilling relationships.
On the other hand, if you’re going for a more fictional dystopian angle – a fictional country with its own lore – it would be cool to see how it got to that point.
How would the government know if two people decided to stay together forever? Is that what they’re trying to find and squash? Like maybe they put people in rotation so you’re never with the same person for more than a few years?
