For a title for myself, don’t really know that I’ve done anything of great impact here. I do seem to write more children’s fiction than most though (or maybe y’all are keeping secret MG WIPs? *Hopeful smile*). So maybe The Nursery Rhymer, or something. Idk. I’m not very good at naming things.

Yeah the plot was very lacking. It would be cool to see the characters developed more.

Or at least, titling things. I can name stuff all day long. It’s the officially titlely stuff that gets hard. Most of my books aren’t even titled.

I remember watching it when I was younger and being creeped out. It’s such a fun film.

Why do these two sentences make sense together? Like, why?

I feel like “Rhymer” sounds like someone who does a lot of poetry?

Also I have no idea what age group my stories are for when I’m writing them, but I definitely have a few that feel like children’s books so you are not alone :] I don’t have very many externally dark themes in my stories usually that would make it YA.

Hmm. Welp, I do write poetry, if it can be called that.

                    *Grateful hugs*

It does feel kinda like it at times…I’m actually working this whimsy story of fairies, libraries, and evil people eating woods right now that I haven’t introduced here because…*shrugs*

                    Anyway……..

That sounds absolutely wonderful. I love whimsy. And fairies. Loving fairies was like my whole personality the first two thirds of my life. Please do share if you feel up to it.

I’m honestly a bit tired of dark stuff and stories that “deal with hard themes”. We need more silliness and whimsy. The real world is full of it. Maybe we should reflect it more in our writing.

                          Ahhh, me too oOoOO… fairies…..

I was actually just thinking about getting someone to read over the first chapter and prologue and give me feedback. I know it’s got spots that sort of dragged, but I literally just finished that chapter a few minutes ago and so I didn’t want to look at it myself. (Actually trying a new writing habit building thing on YWWs that seems to be helping me get words down. I’m at over 3k words in about a month, which is what I’ve been averaging for way longer…like six months…)

So if your interested I can email you the snippet. It’s pretty long I think to share here.

A hundred and ten percent agree. We need more whimsy and light.

Just tried to sort out a title for myself and lapsed into a poetic paragraph reflecting on my self-perceptions. What utter rot. XD I’m not so nice as I think myself. What an uncomfortable, shivery feeling that is.

I am chaos. I am quiet. An echo of sorts. I am that feeling you get when you sneak gummy worms into your dormmate’s sleeping bag. I am the filler flower the florist chooses to keep the bouquet from dropping. Soft, colorful, and although delicate, shaped to dry instead of withering.

You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan

Alrighty! XD And no time pressure. I need to focus on getting a first draft right now anyway, so I’m not asking for scheduled edits or anything. Lol.
