I am out of signature ideas
January 31, 2026 at 8:42 pm #210419Oh no you don’t know the original version. She used to be an assassin and she had a tail and could turn invisible.

goodGREAT time to remember some very uber’d’duber inspirational inspiring words from the one and almost only, Great Spy of Gully (and most of Miska for that matter. )“Linguistic terms escape you? Be not afeared, usually they return in a couple seconds.”
Wow. . . I’m awe and thunderstruck! How inspirationally inspirational! Now, let us sit here staring at this off white wall for a couple minutes pondering the significance of this saying, and how it has completely, udderly, and baconly changed the course of our lifes. ?

Linguistic terms escape me to describe how thunderstruck I am.
You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan
February 2, 2026 at 4:50 am #210462I love how weird you can be in poetry. It’s an expression dear to my heart. I usually do mean something by it all – several things in fact – but there’s great satisfaction in hiding your thoughts in metaphor.
Of course, very few people will understand any of what you say, but hey, that’s part of the fun.
I don’t aspire to be another Longfellow or Elizabeth Browning. I would like my writing to minister to someone, but in the meantime I will enjoy being too vague for my own good and enjoy the juxtaposition of imagery as well as I can.
So, what kind of poetry do y’all like? Any specific meters or structures that speak to your heart? Or word images? I like fire, fairy woods, and birds. 😀

- A Ninja/Spy with Cool Spyish Gadgeties
- A World Famous Artist
- Architect
- Composer
- Painter
- Etc, so forth, what not, yada-yada-yada
- The Sovereign Emperor/Empress of a small Island (Think Australia. Imagine, you could view the world downside up!)
- A scientist that invents/discovers something-er-other wonderously wonderful wowing (cure, conveyance, conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy. . . whatever that means, or *drumroll* COFFEE!!!!!)
Which would YOU choose?
February 4, 2026 at 1:29 pm #210494BY THE WAY (Or road, or path, or track, or street, or. . .) YOU CAN’T CHOOSE A WRITER.

February 4, 2026 at 1:33 pm #210496Alliteration, archaic linguistic phrases, possibly two bites (or a bucket full) of humor. . . THAT TIS WHAT I LIKETH
February 4, 2026 at 1:38 pm #210498First off, I’m stuck between the first two. With 1. ? I get anonymity with adventure and danger. With 2. ✨I get adventure without anonymity but still maybe danger. I think I choose 2, IF I get a cozy cottage in the countryside.
Secondly, where did you go to school? Australia isn’t a small island. ?
