thank you! It’s been tiring at times but so, so good?? haha yes I think Leon/Riker are doing well atm but that’s probably mainly because I’m writing my fantasy books right now? Their 3rd book is on hold until further notice since I feel God calling me more to my fantasy trilogy WIP for now.
I think Leon and Riker may be glad to be rid of me for a little while though. ?

As for my “real” life, it’s been great. Started attending a Bible College, so writing fiction is a real treat. XD (A lot of essays.) And started working more officially in the family business while learning how to start my own.
None of the characters of mine you knew have died yet. I’ve got a whole new series idea I’m trying to keep in the back burner until I get first drafts of my “heart story” done. And I’m planing to do a kid’s book about a little Italian bat named Angelo over November.
Ah, so many changes, but so exciting! I’m happy for you!

Hiiiii?? life has been crazy but good. A lot of writing and school and prepping for graduation this spring. Which is equally exciting but also a bit nerve wracking?
I’ve been great. Did I tell you I’ve been doing 3D animation? I’m currently addicted to recreating How to Train Your Dragon scenes lol…but I might branch off into something more original soon.

Writing’s been really off and on for me right now. I started an autumn themed short story that was kinda tiptoeing around in my head, so that’s kept me at least a little motivated. But since the volleyball season will be over in a couple weeks, I’m planning to really lock in and start working towards my writing goals at a more consistent pace.
Haha I get that. and ooh yay writing goals are always good? I can’t wait to see what kind of stories you cook up ?
And then, random question, but I can’t remember, are you a senior in high school this school year? Or have you already graduated?

By the way, what’s the concept for your new fantasy? You’ve always talked about historical fiction to my knowledge, so this is an intriguing direction. I may have already heard about it but I have the memory of a goldfish. ?
The memory of a goldfish is REAL. I think I may have discussed it here once, but it has changed a *TON* since then?
The basic “concept” I suppose of the story as a whole is a group of misfits all with their own desires and motivations on the search for a prince believed to have been dead for about a year but is rumored to still be alive. It’s no-magic NA (New Adult) fantasy trilogy that handles a lot of hard topics and issues, has a lot of mental health reps, and has main themes of finding the place you belong and how our identity can’t be found in the things we do or in others’ approval/opinions.
It also has 7 MCs?. Which it has been interesting, figuring out how to balance so many POVs and character arcs and etc etc.

Seriously though, I feel like when people open a fantasy book they let parts of their hearts connect with the story that you don’t see in historical fiction. Maybe because of that soul deep longing we have for another world. Idk. But I think it’s true..

This is very random but I was talking with my brother this afternoon, and KP came up. He asked me if any of y’all have physically disabled characters and if so, what are they like?
Does anyone have a physically disabled main or side character? What is their disability and what is the character’s role in the story?

That’s a good question. I have plenty of mentally disabled characters, but I never really thought about how many physically disabled characters I had.
I’m realizing now that I only have one, but they’re a major spoiler.
I may also have one more to if chronic illnesses count. But also spoilers, lol.
I used to have a half deaf, half blind character named Oscar, but I ended up just not using him for anything. He would have been a main character in a story with a modern setting.
