Part of the other thing that I really like about Unvale is they don’t allow NSFW content, while other art sites like Itaku that people claim are good replacements for Unvale do, and I obviously don’t want to see that.

LGBT will likely always be a thing in the modern art and fandom community, sadly. But tbh, for me, it’s much easier to ignore than any form of NSFW. Do I absolutely hate it? Yeah. Especially a few (THANKFULLY non-canon) pairings in my fandoms that make me wanna slam my head into a wall (WHY DO PEOPLE SHIP CLONES TOGETHER, THEY ARE FLIPPING BROTHERS!)
I would love a Christian art site which has neither, but for now, I agree, this seems to be a decent option.

Yeah no I get you on that. It’s hard to pick battles and these days I tend to leave a lot of them, sometimes I wish I spoke up more. And I get you on the praying to saints thing. It feels off to me but honestly people will live the way they want to live and no use wasting energy on it.
In response to your other post, it is interesting how art spaces have so many lgbt people in it. I mean we might never really know, but I sometimes wonder if it just has to do with how artists see the world differently, that can make them more likely to becomes a part of a community like that. It doesn’t bother me but when somebody thinks so differently becoming friends isn’t really going to happen :/
I used to do art on instagram and found that it was really hard to find a ‘group’. I ended up with the Christian writers side of instagram but I didn’t fit in there. I’m still kinda trying to look for options.

Yeah.
I think many lgbtq people gravitate towards art because I know many of them are mentally unstable, and suffer from depression and other things, and as I think we all know, art is an outlit for that.
I’m currently experiencing a boom in my art. Just today I’ve done multiple sketches and linework, which is highly unusual for me, but at the same time, currently I’m going through a lot of physical issues along with my mental health is kinda declining. I haven’t rowed since August, which rowing is my therapy, everytime I feel like my health is getting better, something happens, I feel inactive, I’m falling behind in school, and while it feels like my world is falling apart around me, I’ve been pulled more and more towards my art. And I think there are many LGBTQ+ people who are artists and creatives because of that.
If that makes any sense.

@RaE16 (purposefully trying to make me look bad by twisting what i had done to something else)
This apparently violated the Unvale rules about hate speech, so she was “investigated” as the person from Unvale said it. Now her profile doesn’t mention my name at all, so I assume Unvale told her to take that statement down.
As far as the art, no it doesn’t appear they’ve taken any action on that.
I doubt they will, but in the mean time, I have been letting other artists know when I see them drawing art for this person. However, as far as going through the person’s profile and getting the names and letting the real artists know…this person has over 500 characters…So it’s kinda an impossible task right now. Plus, I’m also trying to not break any Unvale rules. Currently, we’re on good terms since they looked into it and realized I was being upfront with them and not hiding information. I’d like to keep it that way and if I go around messaging people on mass, that probably would make me look like I’m trying to defame the person.
So for now, I have made a general public post letting other artists know but not mentioning any names or giving anything but the bare minimum details, and I did once directly message an artist I follow who did a commission for the person, letting her know. Other than that, I haven’t been going around yapping all over Unvale. I’ll probably repost my indescript post at some point.
I’m not sure if I should be doing more, but at the same time, I’m trying to keep up relationships with Unvale, and also I do not want to earn any hate from the person. And if the person did message me, I can’t reply, because Unvale doesn’t want me interacting with her (fair, neither do I).
So yeah, that’s what’s going on. Hopefully this is the last post on this topic I will ever make.

I think you’ve done pretty good. Like you said, you’re probably better off just doing what you’re currently doing rather than yapping all over the site.

That’s great you’re doing more art! Sorry to hear about your other issues though and not being able to row. I totally get that, my most creative stories and some of my best art comes from difficult times of my life.

No yeah it does. I mean I don’t think we’ll ever really know how it happens to be that way especially without talking to them. I always felt kind of on the outside of other groups and not accepted because of my creative side and sentimental way of seeing the world, and also some of the hard things I’ve been through, and I’d imagine finding a place with others who are similar is really comforting. If everyone is different, then for once you don’t have to feel different.

If my apparently transgender cousin (I’m going to refer to him as “he” cause he’s a guy in reality, just confused) is any indication, this is exactly what’s going on with him. A while before he decided to try to switch, he married a girl, she like tried to stab him or something, and they got divorced. Plus he might’ve been on drugs (before or after, I don’t know.) So this latest crazy development might just be the next thing he’s doing to try to ease his mental state.
Prayers for him would be appreciated cause he is really messed up. I’m not close to this cousin at all but my dad and my uncle are decently close, and it’s really freaking my uncle out. (This uncle also has an ice cream business to run, two other young adult children, is possibly still mourning his sister—my aunt—who died of cancer a year ago, and only has a bare minimum of a relationship with God, so he doesn’t need this on top of everything.)

I request on behalf of many my fellow creatives on the noble and colorful site Unvale, that you add a feature that allows us picky pencil-wielders to rearrange our spectacular and probably traumatized original characters in a more efficient and convenient way than the ‘Send to Front’ button, as myself and my fellow crazy people have found this button most limiting and inconvenient for our sometimes overwhelming urges to monstrously overhaul the lay-out of our manifold pages of colors and insanity.
Maybe a dragging feature? Or at least a “Send to Back” button to contrast the mighty button we already have.
I beg the great royalty to please consider this proposal.And with this plea having been spoken, I say ado.

This might not be something anyone knows about, but I have beaten the last two bosses and first ending to Silksong and I am emotionally destroyed. The story has multiple endings and I think I got an ending where the protagonist makes a heartless decision and thus turns the whole thing into a tragedy.
Weirdly felt like crying. Feels like reading a long epic fantasy series and seeing your favorite character die at the end
