May 17, 2025 at 8:54 pm #203071@the_lost-journal That’s great! Now whenever you feel sad, think of your namesake and whatever he did to earn the title of “patron saint of laughter.” Maybe it’ll help you feel better.

May 18, 2025 at 3:26 pm #203080Completely unrelated to the Catholic naming conversation, but my brother just discovered a giant spider in our Lego room, and my mom killed it with bug spray. There were a bunch of baby ones too.
I wanted to smack it with a shoe. We thought it was a brown recluse, but it was just a wolf spider. Now that I knew, I felt a tiny bit bad for it, cause it was just hanging out there and was probably harmless to us, but ehh. No matter now.

Aw! That poor spider!!!! Especially if it had babies!!!! She was just trying to be a protective mother :,[
And how can you not tell the difference between a Brown Recluse and a Wolf Spider?!?!?!?! One is furry and adorable, the other is smooth and adorable! Your mom is evil!!!!

May 19, 2025 at 8:55 am #203113I love spiders. The real pests where I am are the slugs.
I will make you lose The Game with me.
May 19, 2025 at 9:44 am #203114Slugs are cute! But also diabolical plant eaters ^D^

May 19, 2025 at 10:13 am #203115@the_lost-journal it was my brother that misidentified it actually
and yeah, i think we felt bad for killing it (or at least I did) once we figured out it was harmless, but too late!

May 19, 2025 at 10:16 am #203116@whalekeeper yikes! That’s a big slug.
Slugs are cool, except when they’re in your garden, and then they’re pests. I haven’t had a garden since I was really little, but I read up on gardening tips sometimes, and they have all kinds of ways for dealing with slugs.

May 19, 2025 at 12:00 pm #203122Cool! We do confirmations too, but don’t change our names.
Ewww, you’re holding it?! Slugs are cute, but they’re so slimy!
