I just read Cinder! I really enjoyed it, though it was a little predictable at times. I guessed Cinder was the Princess Selene as soon as Selene was mentioned. XD I loved Peony so much…why did she have to die???😢 I really like the doctor too, but I’m scared he’ll die too. My favorites usually do. I’m reading Scarlet now. I read Gone With the Wind a few months ago, and the fact her name is Scarlet is messing with me. XD
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
February 17, 2025 at 7:43 pm #197905thank you for the prayers!

February 18, 2025 at 1:10 pm #197949@ellette-giselle all righty then!
I went through a space phase at that age too! It lasted several years, and I still think space is cool, but I’ve been studying a lot of science for school, and I’ve decided I can’t stand physics and chemistry. So, no astronomy career for me. XD
yesss same. I like physics but not chemistry. Well, I like the visual part of chemistry, but the infinite math equations I just can’t take.
You’re brave. No one ever gets to know about my book crushes…except I think some of my siblings have guessed. XD
My parents still don’t know about my fixation with him, lol. I’m sure they’ve guessed something, but they aren’t sure exactly what.

February 18, 2025 at 1:19 pm #197951that’s cute. I got a way better match. I married Eomere when I was 13. I was Faramir’s secret sister that nobody really knew about. He was the only one in the family who loved me. Boromere didnt have time for me and Denathor was just a messed up dad. But yeah, anyways. That’s who I really am.
Self inserts are so fun thoughhhhh
My first one was two different warrior cats, Starshine and Jayheart. In homage to that second one, all my self-inserts from then on have had something similar to “Jay” in their names. For example, Huntress’s real name is Jaylen. (That also happens to be the name of one of my cousins, weirdly enough, but I’ve never really met that cousin so….)

February 20, 2025 at 6:12 pm #198116Well, I made the forum, the forum stopped working for me, and I also disappeared off the face of the earth for over two weeks😂💀 well I’ll try to answer questions/responses now😅
@highscribeofaetherium @hybridlore @keilah-h @grcr @savannah_grace2009 @elishavet-pidyon @theshadow @thearcaneaxiom @whalekeeper @ellette-giselle @loopylin @koshka @trailblazer @esther-cI’m sooo glad y’all all love the fantasy ideaðŸ˜ðŸ’œðŸ’œ and I posted aesthetics I think a few pages back on this forum specifically
and now for questions everyone asked:
have you developed how these different arcs blend into the overall story?
I have to a certain point😅😂 it’s still very much in the plotting stage, and the characters’ stories will also develop along the course of a trilogy (with the exception being one of the MCs who doesn’t appear until Book 2…or at least that’s the plan atm)
What’s the worldbuilding you’ve done like so far?
Soooo the idea is that my fantasy world takes place in a country (still unnamed😅) that once existed on earth but doesn’t anymore, likely due to being conquered by another. It’s set sometime in the Middle Ages (probably around the 1300s or so?), and I’ve developed the three main areas of the country along with a very special mountain that will play a huge role in the story…and in the villain’s plot.
There’s a grassy area/meadow, also where the capital of the country is, inspired mainly by English/Celtic culture
A desert area where many nomadic people/families/tribes live, and is based on Spanish/Jewish culture
A dock/seaside area that is dependent on trade/seafaring, heavily inspired by Irish/Celtic culture
I’m curious, what does a no magic fantasy look like? Does that just mean it’s set in a different world? Or that it’s medieval era inspired?
No-Magic fantasy more builds on the fact that it’s in a made-up country/place and, for mine at least, is actually a made-up country whose culture is based on several different real cultures. It’s set on earth and is medieval inspired.
How long have you been working on it/has it been a thing? Even a vague figment of a dream?
Soooo this trilogy kinda combines both old ideas and new, so I have no idea, lol. Officially? I’ve been plotting it since January a little bit I think after I published Broken Shackles, or maybe a tiny bit before, somewhere around there😂
