It’s not just a life being taken away, it’s a life that will never be. It can’t think yet, can’t defend itself. It isn’t aware what they’re doing to it is wrong. It will never experience life outside.

@hybridlore Depends on what you have. Did it not update after the Aquatic update? As in, the most recent creatures you have are dolphins and tropical fish? So there are no axolotls, goats, frogs, bees, sniffers, striders, wardens, piglins or armadillos? You’re in legacy console edition, which stopped updating a while ago. You won’t be able to get it.
If, however, you have all these creatures and their associated updates, you’re on the Xbox version of Bedrock edition. If there’s a seed window, it’ll work just as well as on a computer.

That does make it easier! I’m pretty sure I have them all… though it’s been a while since I actually saw them. I don’t even know if I’ve come across the warden or armadillos, but I haven’t played in a while. Maybe I’ll check it out!

(and I promise Leo isn’t usually this harsh. He’s just going through a lot when this scene takes place and running off of very little sleep😅)

“Leo,” Riker reached out and gripped his forearm, his dark eyes pleading, “wait.”
“What? Do you want me to stand aside and not join this mission? Do you want me to sit aside and allow my own family to bring harm to my brothers?”
“This is dangerous.”
“Every mission we do is dangerous, Riker.” Leo tore his arm away, swore, and huffed. “But what would you know? You don’t know what it’s like to be targeted by everyone around you, what it’s like to be hated by even the people you once considered friends, even family.”
Riker opened his mouth, closed it again, bit down on his lip, shifted on his feet. “…I can listen and try to understand.”
But he wouldn’t.
So many wouldn’t.
How many people could say that their own family hated them, that their own family wished death upon them?
“You never will. So let me do what I need to do, and don’t try to stop me.”
He took a step; Riker gripped his arm again. “Leo, don’t be so reckless with your life—”
“You will never understand!”
His brothers stared at him, eyes wide, a couple of them with mouths agape. Even Ezekiel and Fin glanced up from the map they were studying, confusion and somehow concern etched into their features.
“You will never understand what it’s like to be hated by your family, discarded as if you’re trash. You’ll never know what it’s like to be forced to protect your brothers. You’ll never know what it’s like to be abandoned by the people you thought loved you. You’ll never know what it feels like for the people that are supposed to protect you to be the ones who hurt you, mock you, and beat you. You’ll never understand, Riker Schind,” Leo tore his arm out of Riker’s grip, “so don’t even pretend for a second that you do.”
Riker stared at him, eyes wide, hand and arm still in the air from where he had gripped Leo’s arm, still silent, almost as if he were completely numb.
“…I think we’ve all just had a long night,” Fin smiled, resting a hand on Leo’s shoulder, his other on one of Riker’s, “how about you and your brothers head back home before it gets too late? Rest up, and Ezekiel and I will put the plan together. We’ll all go over it tomorrow night together and make sure everyone is on board.”
Leo nodded and gently shrugged off Fin’s hand. “Ja, that will be fine.”
