well, Leon arrives back home sooner than Louisa expected, just after Louisa and Riker finish dinner. Welll, Leon is completely drunk and angry and ends up pinning Riker down against the counter and brings a knife to Riker’s neck (thank goodness none of the kids see this!!) and makes Riker promise to never show his face in his house or even around him ever again or he’ll kill him.

UPDATE FOR ANYONE THAT WISHES TO KNOW!!!!
As I think all of you, or at least most of you, know…Freedom’s Fire is currently in the publishing process.
It’s a fairly long process, lol, but everyone I’ve worked with at Amazon has been immensely patient and helpful and I came on here to update y’all a little!!
There’s a lot of progress being made, and though I don’t have a finalized date yet and prob won’t for a while, there are a few things I wanted y’all to know!!
- Other than the text that will be on the back, there is a finalized cover design for Freedom’s Fire!! (got this a while back but didn’t really talk about it until now…except with Min😂) and it is BEAUTIFUL y’all…the graphic design team did amazing
- The Editing team is currently going through and editing the chapters…after they’re done with that they will be moving onto the formatting stage and that should be the end of the editing
- And…perhaps most exciting, especially for me…20 out of 37 chapters have already been edited!!! 17 chapters remain, and y’all, it is looking beautiful. I’m so happy with everything the editing team has done to make it look like a real novel without changing what I’ve written😭
