2. Nah, I think it was fine. Reminds me of how obsessive thoughts go round and round, from melancholy to full grief. At least, speaking from reading stories like that.
Other notes: This is more of a neutral comment and you can take it however you want, but it felt very applicable to anyone separated from their lover. I don’t know if you want it to feel specific to Alpha and Emmie – but if so, you could find some fantasy-ish pics and add quotes belonging to the characters. That’s up to you, and if you want it to be more vague, that’s a stylistic choice 😅
