Thou was originally the English second person singular, while you was the plural. You has replaced thou and is now is used for both, so we’re trying to bring thou back lol
Any noun can become a verb if you don't care enough.

Belle walked along the garden pathway. Each step she took was place in a slow, queen-like manner. Her hourglass body was clothed in one of her purple mermaid dresses, and it sparkled and shined in the morning sun. Gold earrings dangled from her small ears, and a simple gold necklace sat around her fair neck.
Birds flew back in forth in the garden’s trees, chirping loudly as though they were announcing Belle’s presence. Butterflies landed on the rare flowers, but then took flight as though they were in the admirer’s way. As Belle walked down the stone walkway in this beloved garden, she sang quietly to herself in a foreign language. She stopped walking and looked up at the statue of herself, and—after giving a fair word to it—she continued around the house until she was in the front yard. As she made her way to the door, a high voice disrupted her pleasant walk.
“Hi! Live well!” The voice called.
Belle turned around sharply, her piercing gray eyes scanning the area. Her pretty features warped into an expression of frustration as she called, “Oh, live well. Who are you?”
What did she see that caused vexation to capture her mood? She saw a boy, leaning against those iron fences that guarded the estate. A boy whose purple eyes—which were once dull and hazy—had a diamond-like appearance.
“Oh,” he said as Belle took several steps in his direction, “I—I’m Blaine, son of Emrys Gretchen.”
“Blaine?” Belle said. She furrowed her thin brows together disbelievingly, “Son of Emrys? The warrior? Don’t lie to me.”
“I am not lying, ma’am.” Blaine said, he slid his hands into his pockets and began to back away from the fence. Belle reached through the bars and lifted Blaine’s face, staring into his eyes as though she could see into his soul. She murmured something he couldn’t quite make out, and then pulled her hand back through the bars.
“You do have his eyes,” Belle said, “It must be true then.”
“D—Do you… well I guess everyone knows the warriors…” Blaine stuttered. He shook his head and asked, “Did you know him personally?”
“I did.” Belle said.

Hi!! (Sorry about seeing this only now, the KP ghost regularly eats my notifs)
Doing okay, especially since it’s Christmas. I got some drawing books and a really beautiful art book by a guy named Omar Rayyan. Ate cookies, stole cookies. Feeling some dread about the second semester, especially because I’m years behind in math, but one can only soldier on.
How about you? Any interesting holiday stories?

@smiley I love the scene, Miley!!so far, I think Payton and Colton intrigue me the most, especially how it was Colton mentioning how going into the Navy was God’s will was the thing that separated them the most.
It makes me wonder WHY that was the biggest reason, and already begins to show a bit of what Payton may be struggling with, y’know?
anywho, I really like it!

My Christmas was good…fun at both of my Grandparents’ houses, made a “movie” with my cousins on my mom’s side (listened to 6 loud, often screaming cousins that are all between 6 and 13😂), and just all in all had a great time✨✨ I got gifts I wanted, but I had the most fun just being with the fam <3 Lots of smiles and laughter and fun times🩷
(I also had a long text conversation with a friend…gaps in between and all, but he and I texted for, like, 4 hours😆)

I do have plans for Coltan, where something big might happen that will cause Payton to push herself farther from God
But I think I also figured something pretty big, Jane is one of my favs and the one I enjoy writing the most, but I was scared people wouldn’t want to read a book from the perspective of a teen (cause I overthink things so much)
But I realize some of my favorite books are in POV of a teenager
So I’m think that all the books will take place from her POV and then they’ll all have one other sibling or friend
So every book will be from two POVs
Does that make sense??
