Hey girl could you pray for me?
I’m not feeling the best, my mom is going to be out of town for a few days to pick my sister up at the airport so we can get her moving to college all figured out… so it’s just me and my dad at home. I have my drivers license, but apparently the car isn’t doing great and the only place I’m completely confident driving to is school anyways, and I don’t have much to do there on summer quarter.
I can’t explain everything that goes on, but sometimes he can get suspicious of me (and other people) over generally little things. It’s a little nerve racking at times. And also he’s started mentioning the whole moving out thing 😅 he said something about me being 18 and having to move out at sometime… so I reminded him I’m not 18. He moved out really really late so he’s scared we’re going to be like him… but it results in some uncomfortable situations. Rent is expensive and I’m still in highschool! It’s stressful, and just a little harder to deal with without my mom here. I don’t have any friends who could come pick me up for a bit… except one acquaintance I don’t know super well. So yeah… I’m a bit nervous for the coming days, it’s until Monday I think.
Just needed to tell someone. <3

I have a new book!!!!!
ahem…
Losing you
Jane is a troubled girl, spending her life in the foster system, she hasn’t really known love. After a few curfew violations, her caretaker (at the group home she stays at) decides it would be best for her to go to a weekend camp. Forgetting to mention it’s a Christian camp. There she meets a boy who shows her a different kind of love, the love of Christ. Even after Camp, their friendship continues to grow, but the boy leaves out a special detail, he’s suffering from a fatal illness.
When born, Elijah was discovered to have a fatal illness, that would someday take his life. Growing weary of people calling him sick and frustrated with the time limit of his life, he decides not to tell Jane about it. While helping the troubled yet pretty girl, Elijah rediscovered his faith, helping him face his fear and grief over his imposing death.
But when Jane figures out the truth, a swirl of emotions faces her. Testing her newfound faith and fear of abandonment all over again.
With love, hope, and most importantly faith, this romance is sure to leave you tear-filled and joyful all at the same time.
It’s bittersweet, but I freakin love it!!!!!!! and Jane has always been in my mind but I think I found her place
and now me and hybridlore are both writing sick fics XD Although that’s not the main focus of my book… well it sort of is… it’s confusing and I still have a lot of details to sort out
I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”
Isaiah 43:1August 11, 2023 at 10:44 pm #153754August 12, 2023 at 9:31 am #153756I will pray for you💗 I’m sorry about that. Hope everything works out!💗 *Gives you giant hug!*💗
"Would you kindly...?"
August 12, 2023 at 9:34 am #153757Ooooh! I love it! It sounds a little like “A fault in our stars” (I have not read it, but my mom has told me about it). But other than that I love it! Can you please tag me if you post any of it?
"Would you kindly...?"
August 12, 2023 at 10:10 am #153758Yes, Girl of course!!
Yeah, I know that story… but sadly it’s not Christian, which is disappointing because it’s such a perfect story for a Christian perspective
So that’s sort of where the inspiration came from… but it’s mostly just wanting to write a story about saying goodbye yet being faithful
I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”
Isaiah 43:1August 12, 2023 at 10:52 am #153761I’ll be praying for you! I’m sorry it’s been rough! 😥
Ooh, girl, I love it! Glad you’re back, by the way, how was camp?
Yeah, it reminds me of the fault in our stars too! Ikr, I wanted to read it but I don’t think I would be able to yet.
There’s also a novella called This Quiet Sky, if you’re able to find it I think you should check it out! It’s really similar to the Fault in our Stars but it’s a Christian author. Definitely worth it for research! 😁
and now me and hybridlore are both writing sick fics XD
And yep, we are! Although I’m thinking of turning the idea into a short story for an anthology, but we’ll see how it goes. I’ve been struggling a little bit with the story but hopefully I’ll be able to figure it out soon!
Please tag me if you post anything else about this story! I would love to read it! 😉
