July 24, 2023 at 5:21 pm #152092@kyronthearcanin I get it….
and yes, The Clone Wars was stunning (I’m assuming you mean the 2008-2020 show, there was an earlier series of animations in 2003 but that was mostly shorts and wasn’t as captivating.) Its spinoffs Rebels and The Bad Batch are just as good, and are where I mostly set my fanfics.
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

Guys… I have terrible news!! 😨
They’re… making… a Chronicles of Narnia… TV show!!
You may be thinking, ‘that doesn’t sound so bad.’
Yeah, but here’s the thing.
The director is totally anti-Christian and doesn’t care what the author has to say, to the point where they may not even do The Last Battle.
…
Just, kill me now.
Signature is limited to 100 characters? That seems awfully unjust. We refuse to be bound by these ru

July 24, 2023 at 9:30 pm #152120Why would they do a TV show if they already have perfectly fine movies??? And changing it that much??

Netflix’s reboot of The Chronicles of Narnia should not stick to the original ending as it may alienate viewers due to its heavy religious undertones.
The current fantasy landscape calls for refreshing twists and turns, so Netflix must carefully decide which parts of the source material to keep and which to get rid of.
Wow…

July 24, 2023 at 10:12 pm #152129Okay here’s the the thing, how come all these companies find it okay to promote other religions, and in fact make it a checkbox on their agenda, but then take out Christian themes because of their ‘religious undertones’??? I hate this. I know Christians are meant to be alienated from other religions, but this sets my bones on fire. Like, at LEAST make the adaptation accurate to the source material, and then label it as Christian content. You have content from other cultures and religions, yeah? I’ve seen so many: Indian, muslim, buddhism – the new woke stuff too, which I consider to be a religion in and of itself.
How come they promote ‘love for all worldviews’ and then purposefully avoid Christians in a very insulting way?
I hate this.
