Is it bad that this scene came to mind and I smiled with evil glee?
Evil glee?đ YES…it is bad… (I’ve heard of this film and now after watching this clip…*cringe* I don’t think I ever want to see it!)
Seriously, though…you wouldn’t do that…right? (I mean, running into stranger’s homes?)
I am definitely smacking you with a snowball now. I want to read more of your Friedrich story anyway…

December 4, 2024 at 9:36 am #190862Oh, you won’t be getting any more of Friedrich. That book has been published, and I wrote that scene because I was thinking of Friedrich. If you want to read more you have to buy it.
You might get a little of other things though.
Um. Yes I would. That’s what I’m doing on here. I’m pelting y’all with snowballs and I don’t even know you. lol.

Lolol, that should be the official video of the forum. đ

December 4, 2024 at 9:48 am #190867Okay…I’ve been hit…fair and square.
Buddy stood before the mirror, rearranging his blue bow for the hundredth time. He nervously fumbled with the silk around his neck, nearly knocking off the cup that dangerously sat at the deskâs edge. The captain suddenly stopped and stared at his reflection.
âCalm down, Buddy.â He smothered his furrowed brow with a paw. âRelax and donât worry.â He peered deep into the orange-brown eyes staring back at him. This is the dayâŠthe day youâve longed to come for so long, and now that itâs here, you canât lose control and fret like a chicken.Â
A soft creak caused him to twitch an ear back. Tap, tap. Buddy smiled. Through the mirror, he could see clearly without turning as a shorter, stout brown-black dog entered the room. A peg sufficed for where his left back leg should have been.

Okay, that’s a fair answer…but you are already talking to us and getting to know us a bit…I meant total strangers. People you’d never even shared a “t” with.

December 4, 2024 at 9:55 am #190871Everyone knows Flint. Everyone in that town knows everyone. It’s a very funny movie. You should watch it. We watched it one night when we were moving house. We had been working since sunup and it was close to twelve. Everyone had been in tears once that day, all the packing tape was gone, and dad was like, “Okay, I’m ordering pizza and we’re going to watch the first stupid cartoon I find that is okay toi watch.” (you gotta read up on plugged in about cartoons now days.”
So yeah, we sat on the livingroom floor, ate pizza, and watched it!
Okay, excuse me while I go write.

December 4, 2024 at 9:59 am #190873I’m back. Here you go.
Reuvenâs hand was shaking, so he dropped it into his lap. Opening his book, he let his eyes trail over the pages of Latin verbs. He had faithfully continued to study, even after leaving university, and he knew these words by heart. Still, he forced himself to read over them slowly and carefully. A waiter came to the SS officer with his order, and the man thanked her. Reuven could see him from his peripheral, and he caught a flash of movement as the man drank from his cup. What was it he was drinking? Tea? Reuven couldnât help his surprise. It didnât seem possible for a creature like that to really drink something so human as tea.
Focus! Reuven looked back at the page. Appello, appellas, appellare A, appellavi, appellatum.
Reuven let his lips move, barely mouthing the words as he went, desperate to keep his attention fixed on his work. But he knew these verbs to well, and his mind began to wander. Is he here because of what I did last night, or because someone found out who I am? Whatâs worse, being arrested for rebellion, or being arrested because of my heritage? Will Maria be safe? I wish I could warn her. I wish I could have made sure she was hidden. I wonder what theyâll do once theyâve arrested meâ stop it! Get ahold of yourself! Reuven desperately turned several more pages, trying to find something harder that might force him to study.
Is he watching me? I can feel him⊠Reuven couldnât help it. He glanced over at the Nazi
Hmm.

Okay, that scenario sounds great to watch a film like that. Sounds like a very nice memory to have with your family! But, you know, people have differences. For myself, I’d go watch Ninjago. Or Redwall…something like that.
(you gotta read up on plugged in about cartoons nowadays.â
Yes. I totally agree.

December 4, 2024 at 10:10 am #190876what do you think of the story section? as interesting as Friedrich?
Yes, it is,very interesting! So, is this from your other book? Fateful Night? Reading this reminded me of a story my brother wrote. He wrote about a German boy who hides a Jewish girl.
WaitâŠâŠ. redwall got made into a movie!?
Not a movie, but an episode series. They made three seasons. 1 for Redwall, 2 for Mattimao, or 3 for Martin the Warrior. It’s an older cartoon, but my siblings and I loved to watch it when we were younger.

December 4, 2024 at 10:15 am #190877Oh cool! Thank you!I’ll have to check that out! I love older cartoons. Like the Tintin TV series, or Liberty’s Kids, etc. It looks like the art they did for the animal Robbin Hood!
Nope, this isn’t Fateful Night, cause that’s already written and published.
This is my newest WIP called The Crimson Rose.

December 4, 2024 at 10:19 am #190880We watched a little bit of that cartoon recently, lol. Redwall was such a phase for me when I was 10-12; I read almost all the books, and I thinky favorite was Loamhedge or the book with the magical pearls.
Netflix was going to make a movie or television series more recently, but there hasn’t been any news in a couple years.
