October 30, 2024 at 10:10 am #188571Is there a word count minimum? Also, do we just post the story here?

Fork the GorkOctober 30, 2024 at 10:20 am #188577Yay, people still want to do this!
If you need extra details, check the first post of this topic written by Rae. She says 500 words requirement, no set maximum.
And yes, you post the story on here for people to read when the deadline hits. You do not read other people’s entries before you have written yours and posted it, that way the “competition” is fair and square.

October 30, 2024 at 10:24 am #188579October 30, 2024 at 10:29 am #188581It’s a short story war (contest) to the death (literary speaking) lololol.
You write a short story about the prompt given. (This time it was Tell the story of a scar.)
You can use new settings/characters or use characters from your own WIP, as long as the flow of the story is clear to people who havenβt read your WIP.
Then you submit the story on the day given (November 9th,) and not before.Β You post the story right on here.
500 words is the minimum.
Then someone (rae) will judge them.
No half-heartedness and no worldly fear must turn us aside from following the light unflinchingly.
October 30, 2024 at 10:29 am #188582Look at the first post on this topic. It will explain everything.

October 30, 2024 at 11:04 am #188589I actually have a very strange scene in my story that tells a story like this and I’ll re-write it for this. I think you’ll all find it very funny
