Ok, I’m not sure if this is on topic but I skimmed the last couple threads, so here’s the potential ship names my characters could have:

That’s about it as far as people in my WIP that are interested in each other lol, very odd combos lol.

Maybe we can find some other Christian writing convention, like for YWW, and have our own little corner. Mention it on here and see what happens, if anyone lives nearby or travels at that time.
Also there’s potentially video calls – which isn’t preferable but might work if we asked moderators to send links through emails, and somehow keep personal information private. But that’s a lot of work for them just for a call.
It’s weird to think about though. Seeing people’s real faces. I know my face doesn’t look at all like my tone on here ?

I’ve wondered that tons of times. I’m almost certain I don’t know you, because I have a feeling if I met someone with your personality I would jam with her right away and buy her aforementioned mocha… but who knows? We could pass each other in the street. We may have seen the same landmarks from the exact same spot, in fact, we probably have. It’s weird to think about.

Let’s just saaaay I’m going to have a new, kinda-romantic dynamic between two characters.
One of these characters could very well fall into instant love. It’s a fantasy matter, normal for the species. How much of this insta-love should be exposed right off the bat? If I make it obvious right away, it might add a funny dynamic where the other character doesn’t take it seriously. But readers will immediately know what I’m doing. If I leave the insta-love subtle, it makes the pairing more respectful, less “for laughs.” I can also put it on a slow burner plot-wise, so the characters can focus on their quest. But that might feel passive and uninteresting.
I’m probably going to aim for an in-between, but if either side sounds better, do tell?

I have never been to Idaho. Darn. I’ve always wanted to, though. And it’s not a weird question! ? Since everyone wonders these things anyway, we might as well voice them.
Have you ever been to a Christian winter camp in a Midwestern area (which is nowhere near Idaho but idk where you live anyway)? A camp with a man-powered slingshot thingie that will launch you across the lake if you don’t have your seatbelt on??
Honestly we’d have more luck if we talked landmarks and popular vacation places, but everyone goes to those places, so it’s not a real jinx ?
