@ariel-ashira do those side effects ever go away?

www.jennaterese.comMay 18, 2018 at 7:22 pm #72848@jenwriter17 Its always something I have to be careful of. Pretty much though, if I work up to something, I can do it as long as I keep myself there. Like if I have not ran much for a while, I have to go easy and just build up speed again overtime. Then I have to run a little everyday to maintain it or I will have headaches again when I run. Things like that. My two biggest struggles are running and fear of heights, which makes sense because two of my concussions were from falling, and the other one from running into the corner of a wall. 🙂 So, if I maintain what I have and work up to new things carefully, I can eliminate side effects pretty much altogether.

www.jennaterese.comMay 22, 2018 at 11:53 am #72951I have a request
one of my younger sisters has a rare form of dwarfism. In fact, she is one in six known cases. When God called my family to CO it was a gift because one of the doctors at the children’s hospital specializes in the type of dwarfism that my sister’s is a branch off of. Anyway, H is nine years old and loves playing sports and riding her bike, but recently she has had to start using a cane almost everyday. She is such an energetic girl (her name in Ethiopian means energy) and I hate to see her pulled down. Her legs have been causing her so much pain lately. When we first adopted her five years ago she walked on her tip toes to relieve the pain, but it caused more damage to her legs and knees. Lately she has started doing that again, even with the cane to help hold her weight.
Please pray that her pain will lessen. My parents want to put off her next surgery for as long as possible, but if the pain continues and she continues to not be able to walk, she is going to have to have a third leg surgery. please pray for her.

May 23, 2018 at 2:43 pm #73029So, this is a problem I’ve been dealing with off and on for the past several years. Basically, I’m looking in the mirror and feeling disappointed. As some of you may know, I have curly hair. I’ve grown to love it, but there are days when I just don’t know what to do with it. It knots, it frizzes, it doesn’t lay right and it’s so hard to care for. I also have freckles, which I feel makes me look younger or not as mature (yes several people have called them ‘cute’). I just don’t feel good about how I look. I know I should be trying to see what God sees in me, instead of other people, but I’m struggling. I know I’ve called myself ugly before, and I hate that I’m thinking that way. So if y’all could pray that I get over this soon, and focus more on God than myself, I’d be very grateful 🙂

www.jennaterese.comMay 23, 2018 at 2:55 pm #73035@jenwriter17 I’ll be praying for you! I especially get the problem of people thinking I’m younger than I really am. 🙂 Since I’m so little people often call me “cute” or “honey,” especially when I’m out with my dad, and that causes big problems for when I’m trying to do business. 😛 I’ve even had to ask my dad to wait in the car sometimes in order to ensure that I won’t be talked down to. I guess eventually we’ll grow out of it, right? 😉
