February 19, 2018 at 3:45 pm #64219Hi guys. I guess no prayer request is going to be nice and I’ve got to admit this one’s pretty hard for me to put out there but I do need prayer so here we go.
Quite simply my parents might be getting divorced. Or not divorced. I don’t know and we have been in a period of uncertainty all into this year. I’m really struggling and don’t know what to do
Any prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Your sister in Christ.

February 20, 2018 at 10:41 am #64248Hey everyone. I’ve got a prayer request for a friend of mine. She is going through an incredibly difficult time right now. There’s some problems with her friends, her family, and her conscience. She feels like she is slogging through a rut and is incredibly tired all the times. It feels like she is a slave to life and not a person. We live a couple thousand miles apart and she refuses to talk to me about; she doesn’t want to burden anyone with her problems. She thinks that she believes God exists but doesn’t believe in him. I know how bad times like this have affected her in the past and I’m very worried for her.
Please, join me in praying for her. I care for her a great deal.

February 27, 2018 at 6:52 am #64793Hey everyone. I have a prayer request.
As my university life draws to a close, I have been on a hunt for a job and it has been very difficult and confusing. Both my parents will no longer be working soon so it’ll be up to me and my sister to support the family. The problem is that I am not entirely sure where or even what type of work I should seek.
My education and career is something that I have long since dedicated to God (the decision to even study what I am studying now was rather unexpected).Β Just today I went for an interview for a position that I wanted very much because I felt that God was leading me towards it. However, the interview did not go very smoothly and I don’t think I made as good of an impression as I could. The whole experience has left me doubtful, uncertain and spiritually and emotionally drained.
There’s still a chance that I will be able to get that job but if I don’t, this will really leave me with no clue as to what other positions I should go for and what career I should pursue. Therefore I will appreciate it if any of you can pray for me for God’s guidance and for me to be able to put my trust in Him and His plans for me and my family.
Many thanks.
February 27, 2018 at 7:53 am #64794@valtmy You and your family are in my prayers! I was reading Psalm 139 this morning, and part of it speaks about how there is nowhere we can go, where the presence of God is not. Height or depth, day or night, one side of the sea or the other “even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me” (verse 10). So I want to encourage you that God is with you through this, and even in your uncertainty, He is guiding you, and has a plan for your future.
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
February 27, 2018 at 8:21 am #64795Thank you so much. This means a lot to me.
February 27, 2018 at 10:13 am #64802@valtmy I know this uncertainty. You can be sure that you’ll be in my prayers.

February 27, 2018 at 10:55 am #64804@pickupyourpenandwriteΒ I just saw your post from a little while ago and I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and your family.Β I cannot even imagine what that must be like for you.Β I posted this before but here is a little story that I love.Β It’s really encouraging to me and I hope it is for you.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it: “Lord,
you said that once I decided to follow
you, you’d walk with me all the way”.But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me.”The Lord replied: “My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”Hang in there and lean on the Lord, friend.Β β€οΈ

February 27, 2018 at 10:57 am #64805February 27, 2018 at 11:06 am #64806Thanks for that. Things are looking up (potentially) and I’m starting to find the ability to keep on praising God no matter what’s happening.
