Aenwest: Here’s dark BROWN hair, AVERAGE handsomeness, and the worst eyesight EVER. Literally is no use im battle and largely dependant on his seeing-eye horse…. Eh. That’s almost too different. What about adding a reserved personality, slightly tragic backstory, and great skill with the bow. And have his horse off-stage for the first bit.
Friend: But he’s blind? How does that work with a bow?

BABYSITTING ??
Onnendel is a decent babysitter, despite being blind. He loves kids. Has an awesome intuition about when they’re up to trouble, and can miraculously keep them in order. They generally like him too. He likes to gaslight them into thinking he can see. Keeps things simpler.
Dwogin is actually not a horrible babysitter. He knows many great games for people under four feet, and is enthusiastic about anything fun. However, that’s as long as the children are older than six. Any younger and he’ll be so nervous about hurting the creatures he’ll let the kids do whatever. Becomes completely ruffled. May hide from his charges.
Tavenor is a great babysitter… Or he would be once he got used to the idea. He’s got a big brother style ability to inspire controlled mischief. Gentle but firm enough in disciplines. Will always be prepared with snacks. Is “cool” enough to inspire heroism in most little boy hearts (until they try to steal his stuff). (Then he is not cool at all) (SHARE is not a word he know, apparently.) (Why can’t ten year olds play with swords?) (Seriously. Adults are so boring)
Randal would be a terrible babysitter. Not that he’s couldn’t do it, or that he wouldn’t be wonderful with the kids, it’s just not his forte. Occupied minds aren’t good for kids over an hour. Chaos would reign. Diapers would go unchanged. Things would be broken. And he wouldn’t realize until it was too late. (But he would be a great “grandfather” type to step in to help someone else.)
Aenwest is a good babysitter, although she can get the kids wound up beyond her ability to control. Still, if she can keep control of the situation, everything should go well. The kids will simply gain an inordinate supply of random facts, which may or may not include the strengths and weaknesses of fairies and how many jellybeans could theoretically fit in an elephant’s trunk.
