      Wow all your guy’s novels sound so cool! Congrats you guys on being officially awesome. 🙂
      I’ve reached 20,000 words today, so yay! Though I’m in a bit of a pickle, because I’m not even close to my book’s designated halfway point. So problem.
      Anyway, my novel is a medieval fantasy, and is sort of a sequel sort of not to one I’ve already written. Down to its bones its about a girl named Ember who happens to be in a city called Chastal during Hilara, a festival celebrating the three Eclipses of the six moons. Two things happen during the first eclipse: One, the city is surrounded by a hostile army (that I need a super cool name for) led by a villain who has the capability to numb people’s consciences and emotions. Second, something awakens inside Ember that makes her dream other peoples pasts (along with other awesome side effects). Ultimately Ember has to break through the army to save Chastal and figure out what the Eclipses are doing to her.
      Yep, so that’s it.

      -All you peoples on the forum. I would most likely not be doing this without you. 🙂

        YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I have reached the 10,000 word score. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 10,517 to be precise. That’s on two stories but still it’s words. 🙂 I’m loving the story that I’m working on at the moment, even though it keeps making me cry. 😉

            @rolena-hatfield – That sounds cool! What’s the name of your book?

            @Hope
            – What was that @Hope? Did I just hear you got chocolate you’d be willing to share? I’m running out. Dark is my favorite. *bats eyelashes and puppy face*

            @Bluejay
            – I love WWI Hi-Fi stories. What’s the title? (I like knowing people’s titles.) If you want to get exactly to the requirement of words you have to write 1667 words a day. So, by seven days, you should have 11,669 words done.

            So, I caught up! yay! I’m at 18,700 words, exactly where I should be. I’m so excited to hit the 20,000 word mark soon. I’m on chapter nineteen I think. And I realized that the chapter where everything starts going wrong is chapter thirteen.

            Here’s some do’s and don’ts for NANOWRIMO

            DO put your goal for the day at 2000 if you want to write 1700
            DON’T put it off until your writing at 11 o’clock at night and wondering if the words you write after midnight would technically count for the next days word total.
            DO make sure you don’t fall asleep on the keyboard. (Yes i did this)
            DON’T get so absorbed in writing that when you finally come for breakfast there’s only one pancake left for you.

              @anne-of-lothlorien The title is Sacrifice. (At the moment) I think it will stick, but I don’t tend to decide on my titles until at the end.

                Yah, I know what you mean about titles @Bluejay. Actually with the Fourth Rule, I haven’t decided if it’s The Fourth Rule, or just Fourth Rule. Because with the series I plan to go down in number either like this, The Fourth Rule, The Third Door, The Second Rebellion, and the Last Chance, or Fourth Rule, Third Door, Second Rebellion Last Chance.

                  @anne-of-lothlorien Sorry, flat out of dark chocolate. Almost out of Pringels now too, which is my salty snack of choice.

                  I am up to 20,000 words though and I’m hoping to write an extra 1000 or so today so I will have more freedom later on in the month around Thanksgiving…

                    @hope – That’s okay. I’m at my grandma’s house, and I can always reload on sweets here. You are right about the extra words. I still haven’t gone home yet, so no writing been done today, so I might only have the evening to write. Ah, what’s another late night in the grand scheme of things. I think my whole life has been training me for NANOWRIMO. I have always been a night owl, and recently have been training myself to wake up early. Two vital components for this form of torture.

                    So anyone @Daeus @hope @corissa-maiden-of-praise @dragon-snapper @ethryndal @kate-flournoy @emma-flournoy @sarah-h @Bluejay @writefury @the-bean @his-instrument @winter-rose @anne-swiftblade Do you guys think the first series of titles I mentioned above, or the second would be better?

                      @Anne-of-Lothlorien I like the last four choices— without the ‘the’.

                        “The Fourth Rule” and “The Last Chance” sound catchy to me.

                            @Anne-of-Lothlorien I really like the last set of names better.
                            My book is so far titled Name of Duretish.

                              Whoopee! I made it to 10,000 words in my WWI story “Sacrifice”. Which means 12,502 words total. This is so exciting. 🙂

                                Thanks for the input on titles. I think I will do Fourth Rule, etc. without the ‘the’ Sorry @the-bean. It’s a tough life.

                                23,316 words!!!!! I’m so happy! But I’m still behind. Guess who tried to write at eleven o clock at night and woke up on the couch?
